Beilala Small J Wall Hooks

Great hooks, I read reviews saying screws were rubbish, I wish I'd listened rather than thinking 'they can't be that bad'. They are, do not use anything other than a hand screw driver on them, powered drivers just snap the heads off.

Heavy duty coat hooks arrived on estimate, well packed and in good order. Our local council, in their infinite wisdom, have changed a perfectly simple and good system of reclamation to a four (different coloured!) bags plus two plastic caddies, and one black plastic bag for non reclaimable stuff, system!Well I needed some sort of 'clothes horse' on which to hang the dratted things instead of them lying about,so I reclaimed(!!) some scrap timber and made one. It's a bit rough but it works. Especially now I've got these nice shiny, heavy gauge, tough, stainless steel hooks on which to hang them. Appropriate screws and screw head covers are supplied and they're easy to fit. Two handles on each bag, so two hooks per bag about a foot apart, means the bag hangs open, easy to load. Recommended.

I wanted to lift my outdoor hose reel off the ground by hanging it on a fence by its handle. Ordinary J-shaped cup-hooks weren't strong enough but a pair of these Beilala hooks proved to be perfect. I even added rigidity by screwing a third hook upside down against the handle to prevent the reel from jumping off the two hanging hooks if the hose is pulled hard or reaches full extension. I was very pleased with my ingenuity - and have high hopes that because the Beilala hooks are made from stainless steel, they will outlive the hose reel (and probably me too).

Sturdy and easy to install

I bought these to hold up a wall ornament, although their primary use is for the kitchen. They are well made, strong & pleasing to the eye. Brilliant.
