My kiddo loves whales and he was thrilled with this one when we got it! Very durable. Kinda smaller than I thought it would be but that’s no big deal!

I didn’t pay attention to the size when I ordered it…my fault. It’s great quality and my grandson loves it! I highly recommend it.

This little whale is well made. The material is sturdy and the markings and details are realistic. Mine arrived with a factory flaw where one eye was not painted with a white mark above it, while the other side was painted, but that's not Amazon's fault at all.

Se trata de una figura fabricada con un material plástico de PVC, de buena calidad, pintada a mano. La figura representa una cría de orca, de colores blanco y negro, con las aletas estiradas y la cola un poco alzada. El tacto es agradable y muy realista, duro y rígido, imitando la textura de la piel de una orca real. Respecto al tamaño, cuando lo ves en la realidad es más grande de lo que aparenta en las fotografías. La figura cuenta con unos 10cm de largo y unos 4 de alto. Si bien esta figura se vende como juguete, yo la compré para decoración y desde luego que cumple con mis expectativas. Es apto para jugar, ya que no se romperá al manipularlo o al golpearlo, pero también es ideal como elemento decorativo. El mismo fabricante dispone de la pareja, una madre de orca , fabricada con la misma calidad y detalle, pero de un tamaño bastante superior. Como curiosidad, la orca se considera una ballena asesina, ya que se alimenta de focas, y su nombre viene del latín, que significa "monstruo del mar". Es la única especie del género Orcinus, y una de las 35 especies de la familia de los delfines. Sin duda se trata de una figura que bien podría venderse como pieza de coleccionista, para amantes de los animales, muy recomendable por su excelente relación calidad/precio.
