Functional Utility brand Super Steps are each made from aircraft grade aluminum and are finished with a black powder coat. They will never rust or corrode and each bracket has a Neoprene backing to protect the paint finish on your Jeep®. Super Steps are sold in pairs. The mounting hardware provided with your Super Steps is stronger than Grade 8 steel. These fasteners have a minimum tensile strength of 170,000 psi and a minimum Rockwell hardness rating of C37. They have a zinc basecoat, an aluminum topcoat and can withstand 1,000 hours of salt spray per ASTM B117. If you somehow manage to break our steps (and no one has so far), FU will replace them free of charge or refund your money for 30 years from the date of purchase. We will, however, require you to tell us how you actually managed to break them and have you send us a picture of your Jeep, but that's mainly because we're always up for a good story.
