Took no chips, dings, knicks to the blade. Blade felt sharp, but had trouble cutting small objects, so need’s Sharpened. Loved the length, sturdiness, blade craftsmanship, material. Only issue, large hands and handle is too short. When I chop, swing, end/tip of handle rolls up/down in palm making a blister in center of palm. Also, shirt handle makes it unsafe, with a tendency to slip out of handle. No secure hand bind to keep on wrist if it does slip too. Despite that, it is great, sharpen.
