surprisingly good tone for the price
i mean it's a cheap-assed drum made overseas, but that's kind of the point, no, to get a cheap-ass tone ... only, the tone is quite good. does that mean wood is wood, metal is metal, and generally drums have gotten about as good as they can get?

Great accent drum but needs lil work
Ok, cheap snare..yup' put new head on..and bang'' this thing rocks' ..great for accents and the brushes project better than my regular snare' obviously its not a main tool but the funk loves it'

Nice drum
I enjoy this snare a lot definitely worth the money. all you have to do is tune it ,tighten the snare and replace the heads that’s it. Very good snare highly recommend.

Piccolo is the way to go
This is my first Piccolo drum and I'm very satisfied with the way it sounds! I also just purchased a couple other snares from them, geek stands are awesome! Highly recommended

Terrific for what it is....
Great piccolo snare for the price point. I embellished it a bit, but out of the box, its ready to go. If you're a drum purist, its not for you. Bearing edge, wrap, washers, not 100% but so what! Some very light and fun tweaking and this this is perfect for what I need it for! DRUM ON! Do It!
