Works great but the shackles have flimsy rings to stop from backing out

I'm a scuba diver. Every so often I participate in an "anchor dive". That's were we swim around looking for boat anchors where people didn't use a chain like this. Typically, we'll find 2 - 3 ft of anchor rope still attached to the anchor. The rope rubbed on something abrasive and when the boat owner tried to pull their anchor in, they wound up with just a frayed piece of rope. As far as I can recall, I've never recovered an anchor with a chain like this.My thought is... if I'm going to spend $150 on an anchor, and $40k on my boat and motor, why not spend another $30 to protect those investments.The last thing I want to happen is to surface from a dive only to find my boat has broken lose and has drifted away.

Great quality stainless chain. Just as advertised, and arrived as promised.

Nice chain. No detractors it comes with a locking ring on the end of the pin. I moused the shackle anyway with locking wire. The pin hasn’t corroded in place like my zinc coated stuff. I paired with a Guardian, cheaper non- anodized anchor. My crew loves the reduced weight and clean handling when anchoring now.
