This one works well. There is a slight delay, maybe a second or two, before the connection is established, but it has been reliable and always connects. The converter does get warm after a while, but not to a degree that makes me nervous or concerned. I have learned that USB-C to HDMI conversion is not as straightforward as it sounds. My setup is a MacBook Air connected to a Vizio TV, and I have tried several converters, many of which either failed completely or worked only sporadically. Two UGREEN converters, this one and their 6 in 1 model, worked from the very first try. The bulky 6 in 1 connects almost instantly and is more versatile, but I appreciate the simple, compact form factor of this product.

Has a very slight input delay on one of my tvs but otherwise fine. I think thats a tv issue though. Casing is aluminum and very robust. Another Ugreen win

Signal quality is extremely poor, I’ve tried multiple different displays, TVs, computer monitors, etc. I either get a fuzzy output with random snow like patterns over it, a completely blank output like nothing is there, or a complete snow field with nothing discernible. I’ve tried using this connected to multiple devices as well, phone, tablet, laptop, Nintendo, all exhibit similar behavior. They work fine with other adaptors and cables, but this one has problems. I even tried keeping it at just 1080p, it’s not even good enough to do that.
