I was pleased in their performance, although they do seem to have a shorter internal crimp metal section than typical union connectors. I was able to get used to that with these, however. Upon crimping and conducting a pull test, they held up well. Also the heat shrink shell would require more heat than I expected but would definitely shrink down tight, even on slightly smaller gauge wires or doubled up wires on one end of the crimp. I used this on my utility trailer first, and that thing is exposed to a lot of water and dirt due to it being a flatbed snowmobile type trailer with the wheels directly underneath. These connectors enabled me to make a much more durable connection with the wiring underneath the trailer. I trust that it will be much more solid for years to come as a result.
