6 core gaming beast
I installed this on my ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Ranger (Z170) motherboard after modding the BIOS with Coffee Tool and it works perfectly. The CPU I got is the newer R0 stepping based. Had no issues overclocking and managed to get 5 GHz stable at 1.35V with AVX on.Amazon service was great, product was packed with care and came a day before expected delivery date.Performance is better than the Ryzen 5 3500X under every aspect and gaming performance is better than the Ryzen 5 3600 due to Intel's superior single thread performance and better memory controller. Multi-thread workloads are better on the Ryzen 5 3600.This has been a great upgrade for my secondary PC.

Snappy performance
I am using hackintosh so intel is my only choice.On pairing it with rx570, my system become much more snappy compared with my previous processor i3 8100.Highly recommended for budget gammer as cost of latest AMD processor and motherboard are too high.

What you should know before buying it
It doesn't matter which processor you are using...If you want to play games without lag at least you should have 8Gb graphic card.. with 16 or 32Gb ram..with more then 512 GB SSD...ABOUT THIS PRODUCT(If you are purchasing this then purchase a good mother board...without this, this processor is useless) But don't buy Ryzen in this price range...👍👍👍👍👍👍
