I give this five stars in consideration for the price. However, do not mistake this for an excellent product itself. This is, by no means, an incredible speaker. For only ten bucks, it is a fantastic bargain, but don't expect sound quality like Beats or Bose. At least in my master bathroom, it has a muffled sound, especially when the shower is on. And it's really not THAT loud. I find it to only slightly enhance the original volume of music from my iPhone at its loudest. And I find the buttons troublesome. They confuse me. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't, but I honestly am not sure if this is just because I don't understand how to use them (I thought I did after reading the instructions, but they haven't worked well for me, so either I misunderstood or they just don't work well) or they malfunction. I write this review mainly to express cons, so as to help provide a more detailed picture of what new customers would be getting from this purchase: I personally find it annoying how the on/off power of the speaker is laid out. When you turn it on/off, a red light flashes on the button and you hear a distinctive sound to signal either on/off. However, this only lasts for a few seconds, so after say a minute, you have no way of telling if the speaker is actually on/off. I also have to complain about the suction cup. I have settled for just laying the speaker down on the shower seat or just outside the shower (maybe on a sink counter or on the edge of the bath-tub), as the suction easily pops and the speaker falls to the ground after ten-twenty minutes. I say this solely based on my own experience in my personal bathroom. But I would estimate that this is the same for anyone else, unless you have some magical shower wall surface. So this certainly wouldn't be able to hold onto the shower wall for days on end. You'd have to place it on the wall before each shower and then take it off when you are finished, before it clatters to the ground by itself. This strategy worked well enough for me, except I found this incessantly repetitive process to be terribly annoying. But, once again, considering the very cheap price of this sticker, this is absolutely fantastic! The sound quality, while slightly muffled, is pretty fantastic. There are no weird static-y noises that most speakers at this price would have. And the blue color is gorgeous! I love it! So, in the "competitive" pool of ten-dollar speakers, this SoundBot is a sure win! I forgot to mention, the battery life isn't very long. I have to recharge it every few days, even though I only use it for my daily morning routine (I'd estimate this lasts about twenty-thirty minutes each day). And the charger that comes with it only includes the chord, not the plug. You have to get a plug yourself. I just use the one that came with my personal iPad charger, since the cable end is of the USB-format. (I'm not very technical in terms) This is kind of annoying, but it works for me. Just a heads up, though, for all you potential buyers. All in all, if you're looking for a bargain deal, I'd definitely recommend! It does the job! If you're looking for a great sound quality, I'm sorry to say that this speaker isn't for you. You most likely won't be satisfied.

Bought this back in jan of 2021. This speaker has held up for 5 years so needless to say it’s a pretty darn good speaker for the price. Still has the same sound quality since when i got it and it has been drenched numerous times and nothing bad. Would recommend

Even though our cell phones have IP ratings, my heart sinks when my device gets sprayed with water while showering. If this is also you, please read on. After a month of using the speaker, I find that it is OK. Durability: Speaker is obviously waterproof but the charging port is not. Make sure the charging port is plugged up before turning on the water. Also, I have dropped the speaker 1-2x and it still works fine. Sticks to shower wall (glass) just fine but remember to wet the wall a bit before affixing otherwise it will drop. Battery Life: I have to recharge about once a week. When the battery is low, you will hear a consistent beeping and then the speaker will turn off. The most annoying thing is when the battery dies while showering so use your Bluetooth feature on your smartphone to check the battery life so you can pre-emptively charge as needed. Connectivity: No issues connecting to my Android device. I leave my phone outside of the bathroom when using the speaker and the connectivity quality remains the same. Sound: The sound is slightly garbled. Nothing too crazy but if you play something with some bass, it may not sound too good. I mostly listen to podcasts and so forth so as long as I can understand what the person is saying, I am good. Phone calls sound good and person on the other end can hear me. Overall, I think this is decent speaker. Its only $10 so for what I paid I feel it's a good product.

Surprisingly good! I procrastinated for quite a while purchasing a bathroom bluetooth speaker because no single product seemed to stand out as the best option. All I was really looking for was as bluetooth speaker that would be safe to use in the bathroom so I could listen to music and news in the morning without risk of water damage to my phone. And a couple months of window shopping I finally "settled" on this product due to the generally positive reviews and nice price point. After 2 months of use with it I can say I am very pleased with the purchase! I attached the speaker high on my shower wall so it never gets direct contact with water. Pros: Sound: Volume is plenty adequate to hear over the shower and the sound quality quite acceptable and almost good(for shower listening standards). Connectivity: Its always connected every morning when I turn it on without issue. Range seems to be adequate. In my house it has worked perfected through 2 walls and ~15' away. The connection gets a bit spotty when going through 3 walls and 20'+ away. But overall seems adequate for its purpose. Battery life: Seems to be consistent with the 6 hours reported by the manufacturer. My phone always displays the battery level in the bluetooth status so I know when I need to pull it off the wall to recharge it. I cannot comment on its utility as a speakerphone as I've never used it for that purpose. Cons: I wish it supported Siri! The only thing that would make this product any better would be if I could use it to give Siri voice commands to change apps. Part of me wants to dock this product 1 star for this, but at price I still think it deserves 5 stars because I'd happily purchase it again.

This is a perfect lightweight and compact bluetooth speaker. Does the job for what I need it for - just for when I take showers. Sound and reception are great. My phone stays in the bedroom and there are no issues w/ connecting. Well worth it in my opinion!

Literally the best mini speaker I've ever bought in this price range. I love having this in my bathroom for morning routines but I actually steal it a lot and use it for other events as well. It's not tinny like cheap speakers are expected to be, it's actually really great sound quality which is what all the other reviews said too and I believed them so I bought it. So glad I did. It really is a great little speaker!
