As can be expected from Freud equipment, this router bit worked exceptionally well turning my router table & router into a planer, giving an fine, clean edge to the oak boards i am working with on my current project.

Exactly what I needed for routing hardwoods. Extremely sharp and still in good working order after routing maple hardwood. I have bought cheap router bits they don’t last Freud maybe more expensive but well worth it.

This is a great bit and worked well. I had one problem with it when the guide bearing froze up and I had to replace it.

I’m new to woodworking and started with a Bosch kit of router bits. I’ve primarily been making cutting boards and using the bits out of the kit. I decided to put corners on a board I was making and didn’t want to use a jigsaw and sanding as I had done in the past. I had to buy a new bit bc the board is about 1.75” thick. Put this 2” Freud bit in my router table and busted out my new Kreg corner guide. Man, this thing cuts through that wood like butter. My first experience with an “expensive” bit, but what a difference. So much so that I just bought one to do juice grooves with that I haven’t even tried yet! Can’t go wrong with this bit!

Unbelievable precision, makes routing fun. I am a true believer in Freud now, after going through a few of the cheaper options on amazon, I gave this one a try and will never go back. I used this bit to make a straight edge on 1.5 inch thick slab , and I have to say it was the sharpest edge I've ever seen. It easily handled itself even when I tested it with a good 1/4inch edge over bottom guide. It was so smooth that I barely had to secure the bottom guide slab, which often required several clamps when I used inferior bits.

Bought this router bit for the use with a pattern . Nice and balanced cutter and clean cut .
