Very good looking machine heads, they do seem to be very well constructed, they all turn very smooth and precise, I was worried as some reviewers mentioned that the high E and B strings could slip, so I did check the end of the pin and they all looked fine to me, installed them on a IYV IP-300-TSB guitar and they have been working fine for over a week, no tuning issues, they look really nice. I made sure to get the correct version, so they were a perfect drop in, so install was a breeze, I am so impressed that I am going to get a set for Strat (2 pins instead of screws for affixing to the headstock) and put on my MIM standard... if all goes good, I will also do it on my Tele... Re-stringing the guitar took a couple of minutes for all 6 strings, and with the strings being cut very close to the peg, the headstock looks very clean & tidy. No need to pay for the brand name, these look & work great, and the price is very good.

I have these on 2 of my guitars, one is an SG clone, and the other is an Ibanez electric acoustic. They're great tuners. Very smooth turning, holds their tune a lot better than stock. Very easy to install.

Good build quality. Easy drop-in install for me. The paddles are WAY too small.

Great product and the holes line up for my s-style geetar. easy to install and very stable. They are solid and add a little extra weight to my headstock but I am very strong and can compensate for any possible head dive.

I have installed these tuners in 6 guitars at this point. Each set fits great and works perfectly. A great upgrade over stock cast tuners.

Excellent value! These are precision machined with flawless chrome finish. I have been through several string changes and have not found anything to complain about. Smooth, accurate, and stable all get their box checked. This is typical of Korean machining and was a big factor in my decision to try them.

Fit perfectly on my Epiphone LP and the ratio makes it much easier to tune.

I used a set of these 3+3 locking tuners on the prototype for one of my recent builds, and there are some clear pros and cons: The Good - * The price is definitely great! * I really like the screw locks which hold the strings. They're extremely easy to use! * Once the strings are broken in (3 or 4 days), they hold tune quite well thereafter. * They look pretty nice on a guitar, and * They are fairly smooth for such inexpensive machine tuners. The Bad - * One of the six bushings on my set was very rough to get it threaded onto the tuning peg, and it was excessively tight to turn. It did not strip on me, thank goodness, but that was my fear the whole time. * I said above they are smooth. That's so long as you're tuning in one direction (tightening string tension, for example). As soon as you reverse direction (loosen string tension), there's very noticeable play before it catches on the gear again and resumes smooth movement. A higher quality tuner has no play in it. * The tuner with the tight thread above also has an extremely tight turn to it. Ironically that one is on the high "E" string, and I'm always thinking it's going to snap the string which it did with the first .09 I put on. So far the second .09 has held up. Time will tell, but I'll update is anything changes.

As many buyers I presume, I start by looking at the bad reviews and it of course got me worried! Well, I'll tell you now, I have only good things to say! Installing is super easy, didn't have to drill, screw holes aligned perfectly. I measured and they geniunely have a 1:21 ratio, precisely. The main reason for changing the original locking tuners on my Ibanez - other than the ease of putting on new strings - was that I hoped to improve the tuning stability. The current Ibanez tuners would go drastically out of tune after a playing session or even over night...not anymore! 🙂 Despite it being winter now, meaning that the differences in temperature are really high between when the heat comes on and off at night, it stays very much in tune! (of course a very slight tuning is always necessary, as it would with any guitar tuners, but it's very much playable immediately). At this price point, there is definitely nothing better and I wonder if there is really any worthy improvement with some of the more expensive and established locking tuner brands out there?
