Wow!!! It WORKS
My 2 year old has been sooooo attached to her pacifiers, that she even requests them by color. My husband and I knew we had to start weaning her off them, because it was to the point she had to have them all the time. She has always had the Dr. Browns pacifiers, so when I received this kit, I thought no way will this work. When she asked for her binky, I simply just gave her the first pacifier in the kit and told her that is all we had left. We continued to follow the instructions provided, and within 5 days, she no longer wanted it. She would throw them across the room. She is a little restless at night when going to bed without them, but once asleep, she sleeps through the night. Thankful for this kit! 10/10 recommend giving it a try. It worked miracles for us and was so easy.

Miracle kit
Seriously AMAZING!!!!!! We were DREADING the paci breakup and had tried every book under the sun to introduce the concept that paci was going bye bye. We introduced this system to my daughter shortly after Christmas and were slow to transition to different sizes because we had lots of other transitions going on but in the past week we’ve gone from size 3 to size 5 (the smallest) with no problem at all. She never asks for it anymore and even sleeps without it now. We are SHOOK! Thank you Frida Baby!

This system works!
I had been putting off weaning my toddler from her paci for a while in fear that it was going to lead to dreadful nights of her not being to sleep. I never write reviews but NEEDED to for this product because it made the weaning process so seamless I was shocked. By the time we got down to the final pacifier in the system, we let her wear that one for bedtime for about a week before we took it away altogether and she was completely unphased. This girl LOVED the comfort of her paci but somehow was ok and accepting the progression to no more paci. We used this system along with a little reward system from the “paci fairy” each time she leveled down. It worked so well that I had to share this experience!

Quick and Efficient
This pacifier weaning kit is awesome! I took it slow and my 14 month old daughter was completely weaned from the pacifier by the end of the second week. We never had to use Stage 5!

Surprisingly effective!
Our 2 1/2 year old began getting more attached to his binky instead of less attached so I decided it was time to intervene. I decided to give these a try and was shocked how quickly it worked. We only made it to step 1 when he decided he didn’t want it. He knew right away something wasn’t right but moved on quickly. If your like me & know your child will cry and cry for their binky and don’t have the heart to take it from them i really recommend trying these! I felt better about it because it was his decision if he wanted it or not. Only reason im giving 4 stars and not 5 is because they’re basically just binkys that are cut shorter and shorter so for the price im sure you could make your own at home. Although this option is probably safer but wanted to note that anyways. We’re now on day 3 of no binky and he stopped asking for it all together. I’m shocked because 500 times a day he would beg me for his regular one before giving him this instead. If you’re on the fence just go for it! Much cheaper than braces in the long run.

Just give them a shot! You won't regret it!
I'm gonna be honest, I really was not sure about these. I have a three year old and a one and a half year old. My three year old was ATTACHED to her binky. I tried many different things from the binky fairy to cutting the tips of the binky off to cold turkeying it. Nothing worked with my three year old, and with it being hard to get her off of it, it made it that much more difficult with my one and a half year old. The first thing I did was get them binkies that had more of an alike shape to these weaning ones. I knew if I tried switching from their mam binkies, it never would have worked. The hardest out of all the numbers wasn't even them, it was switching to the binky with an alike nipple. I switched each one while they were asleep, so it was already in their mouths when they woke up. My daughter was very upset about the change in nipple shape, I mean screaming, crying, calling out for her old binky. Without even thinking, I somehow came up with the story that binky was going through growth spurts like she does. With that, she decided to give the new shape a try. I kept them on that binky for two weeks before trying the weaning kit. When I switched to number one, both didn't even notice at first until midday I heard my daughter holler, "binky changed colors!!" I got all excited for her and said, "Oh my gosh! Binky had another growth spurt!!" It kept the experience optimistic for her and something to look forward to. We kept them on number one for two weeks and then I made the change to number two. It was the same experience again, they did not notice until about midday and then I'd hear the excited, "Binky changed colors again!! Yay!!" However, I made the switch every three days instead to avoid them getting too used to that number. As we got to number 3, I noticed both my kids barely asking for binky. It was really only desired for sleep time and if they were super upset. They even would fall asleep for nap time without them. My one and a half year old gave binky up at number 4, saying, "Eww!!" when I tried to give him binky. I still switched binky to number 5 for both, so to my daughter it appeared that both were still having growth spurts. Switching to 5 for my three year old was hard, but it was a bittersweet moment. She came to me in the middle of the night upset that she couldn't hold binky in her mouth anymore. I told her that binky was finally all grown up, and we should celebrate. The next day we had cookies in celebration. She still asked for binky for a couple of days, and we allowed her to carry number 5 around to reassure her that binky was all grown up. Eventually (within two days), she stopped asking for it and I discreetly put it away for good. She did not ask about binky again until a week later. I reminded her that binky was all grown up and off to bigger and more exciting things in life. That answer seemed to please her and she has been good for a month now. I never thought we would get her weaned off, but honestly these worked magic, especially with our fun little story to them. I will forever recommend these to anybody.

I don't know
Did not work for my child. If you want to wean, you might just go cold turkey like I did. I even tried cutting the pacifier what my child used, but it didn’t help.

Does work!
Was desperate to find something that helped wean my 2 year old off the paci, I had already tried cutting them and going cold turkey did not work for us, this gradually helped her ease back and in Two weeks was completely off the paci. Four stars due to the price but was totally worth it after getting results.
