My skin was never oily until this last pregnancy. I am really glad I tried this apricot scrub — it was exactly the gentle exfoliation my face needed to feel bright and clean again in the morning. I love the smell, and the texture is the perfect balance of gritty and moisturizing!

Discovered this product while traveling to India and fell in love. its similar to conventional SwissAlps version of apricot facial scrub but not as harsh. Great to use once a week or so in lieu of gentle daily facial washes. Highly recommend

This has a subtly sweet smell and really isn’t harsh on the skin. Even though it exfoliates it doesn’t strip your skin and you still feel moisturized.

Works really well. I use it on my elbows and feet in the shower as well as face and neck. Love this product and i continue to purchase.

I want to say that I have mixed feelings about putting this on my face but that would be a total understatement. To give you a little insight, I’ve been using the Kylie Skin walnut face scrub since May of last year. I used the walnut face scrub once a day, 3-4 times a week and I’m still in love with it. However, I was looking for a more budget-friendly alternative and I gave this one a try. What I love is, it does everything my other walnut face scrub did but it doesn’t make my skin feel stripped or dry (the Kylie skin did a little bit). It checked all my boxes in regard to why I bought the product! HOWEVER—upon my first time using it, I squeezed a bit of the scrub onto my hand and I was hit with this overwhelming scent of straight vomit. I couldn’t even believe it, I literally had to keep smelling it and it definitely smelled like something I’ve thrown up before. I did debate whether or not I should even put it on my face but, for whatever reason, I was feeling optimistic and lathered it into my pores and I LOVED it. It does NOT leave that smell lingering on my face. That would be the definite dealbreaker for me. But as you rub it in the smell goes away. I also use a multitude of other products after that one, so any excess gets wiped away. I’m telling myself that naturally made products don’t typically have scents because those scents are often artificially created using harsh chemicals that can be harmful to your skin. So maybe the use of more earthy, organic ingredients is causing the scent?? Maybe it’s just me? Maybe I should stop using it???! I dunno, anywho, my skin feels great, the scrub works great and it smells like barf. Do with that, what you will. Lol

I like how aggressive the exfoliating particles are. Been using this type for 2 years now.

the product really works for oily skin

I have been using this for a very long time and this is the only exfoliating I love it. It exfoliates your skin really well that your skin feels refreshing and soft especially your nose area. I am in love with it.

As someone with oily, sensitive, combination, and acne-prone skin, I found the texture of the Himalaya exfoliator to be a bit too harsh, especially during breakouts. I expected something gentler. I'd advise using this only when your skin is clear; it's likely better suited for normal skin types. However, I do enjoy it and use it once a week, being careful to avoid active breakouts as it can aggravate them. Despite the roughness, I'm giving it four stars for its light, pleasant scent and the refreshing feel it leaves on my skin when I'm not breaking out. For daily cleansing, the regular Himalaya cleanser works very well in combination with this exfoliator (used weekly).
