Have got this desk for mixing at home (keyboards and mic inputs) . Very pleased with the mixer, has great eq sweep , as good as higher end mixers, gain has good range and low noise across the mixer. The on board effects are basic and a bit muddy but OK if the only effects you have , otherwise use the aux send for outboard effects. The only downside is the controller knobs are a bit flimsy, too much twisting on them outside the vertical plain and I feel they could break. Faders seem fine with no noise in use. To sum up a great value mixer that, treated with care, is fine and for home use superb value. Take it to the gig down the local pub and you might be looking for spares, having said that you can buy three of these for the price of a more known make mixer , so as long as you don't get too heavy handed I think this is a good buy.

Great unit quality better than i expected for the money

It's absolutely not amazing if you look at it as a mixer. It's pretty cheap to touch and in general feels like a toy sometimes. But then you look at the price. Then you look around. And then you see that there's not much better than this at this price point. I am absolutely happy to own this, considering I spent a fraction of what big brand mixers cost. If you're a pro, then you probably have more money and should spend more money on the mixer. If you're a home user with a limited budget, then it's a decent choice.

If used as a traditional Mixer it is actually fantastic value for money but do NOT buy this expecting it to integrate with a DAW unless you are feeding it in via an existing Audio interface. Yes, it can be used as an audio interface on its own (not mentioned in the manual or sales pitch) with your PC via USB but then recording into a DAW can be challenging as playing back an existing track while recording another causes a feedback loop. For this to be successful in this area one would need some sort of 3rd party audio routing SW. Also channels cannot be recorded individually into their own tracks in the DAW. It's all on one or nothing. So, master mix only. No midi DAW control features available. For example sliders on the mixer cannot be assigned to control sliders in a DAW. Even though one can hear audio in the PC you cannot record it into a DAW via BT? So it's all a bit of a gimmick though would be useful if only one could record. Onboard recorder MP3 player. Why? Pointless & cumbersome to use. NO USB stick is recognised unless there is an MP3 already in the root folder DOH!!! Recording to USB Stick is limited to a single take ie recordings are not split into channels and saved as separate audio files. Single file for all or nothing. Again, pointless. Also cumbersome to actually use. So if you are only going to use it for live or traditionally then this is a steal else pay loads more for something like a Tascam Model 12.

Exellent quality

I bought this as an inexpensive replacement for a four year old Berhinger mixer that let me down and was only disappointed by the fact that I hadn’t bought this one to start with. It might be a lower price mixer, but it’s good quality both in its physical build and sound quality.

So here on Amazon it says in this box what you like/Dislike! So being constructive in my review being here in the UK I do dislike the non fused three pin plug that looks like a trip to A&E if it goes up in your hand!!! I have resolved this. Power supply afterwards it truly amazing. Phantom power & the surprise of the onboard effects have blown me off my socks as I hate reading manuals. I love this desk ;~}

It does not meet my expectations and the volume control system does not work so I will have to return it please let me know the process
