Exactly what I was looking for. I specifically wanted microfiber towels, and the green stripe has a very slight scrubbing quality to it, just enough to get something stuck on off without scratching the surface. Works great for cleaning up my stainless steel cooktop and appliances. Great for cleaning counters and cabinets. I also can use them dry or with a polish on wood furniture surfaces for dusting without scratching. I also use them on the cooktop, wet and wringed out, to cover the knobs when frying foods -- less clean up afterward. I even use them to clean windows. Great value. If they become stained they get moved to the general cleaning rag pile. Never had them melt, although, I never use it over open fire or direct heat or as a potholder.They hold up very well. I've tried similar ones out of cotton which tend to look like rags after the first wash and they are rougher and take longer to dry and leave streaks. I much prefer these microfiber towels.

We bought these mainly for use in our patio bar, but also as general use cleaning cloths (we don't need that many in the bar!) They are excellent quality and value. They are perfect sized, soft and absorbent and wash well too. Excellent.
