PerfectPrime TL3162K K-Type Thermocouple Temperature Sensor Probe

Worked perfectly to upgrade a chap toaster oven with PID temperature control for my shop to use for all sorts a jobs from drying 3D filaments to PCB reflow soldering and all sorts of other things in between.

Clip directly in front of meat between meat and coals to see actual temp. I use a 22" Weber kettle to smoke brisket, cheese (cold smoke), sausage, and salmon. When the grill temp shows 400, this unit shows 300 (perfect for salmon). Grill shows 300, this unit shows the ideal smoking temp of 225 for brisket. Buy a thermocouple and this unit, plus a probe, and you're set.

UPDATE: Both units got replaced and the new ones work perfectly! Prompt shipping and excellent customer service, very satisfied.BOTH UNITS DAMAGED during shipping!!! Though I do appreciate the super fast shipping, but SERIOUSLY?? For such heavy and sensitive probes, only one layer of thin bubble wrap and an envelope were used for protection and the product itself is sold in a bag. Unbelievable… I need replacement!!!!

great to put near your meat to get the grill level temp if you're into that kind of thing

Good quality and the price is good, I repair appliances and checking oven temperature with this temperature probe makes it easy and it’s accurate.

Temperature reads a bit low and clip is not useful. I thought the clip could move up and down the cord, but it is soldered on the cover of the thermocouple

I use this for sensing MOSFET and Driver temperatures on a 3 phase inverter design. also, used it to verify that my new GE oven is 40 deg F high at 425 setting. Easy to use with my much older fluke DMM. Recommend this product.tech support answered my accuracy questions right away. great support.

I saw this same temp probe at the supply house for twice as much money. I'm a Service Technician & I use this temp probe to show my customers the temperature in a certain area of their oven, very helpful & a great tool.
