Very handy wire for small projects. The insulation may recede slightly if your soldering iron is too close but other than that, it deals with the heat just fine. A variety of colors is great when you have to keep numerous runs organized. The wire itself is made out of copper so of course it conducts without any issues. It's a great deal for project wire.

It's difficult to find smaller gauge wire that has a flexible coating that isn't silicone. As was expected, this wire has PVC coating and is a little more rigid than I would like but it works well overall. It works in crimp connectors nicely, I just worry about the pvc breaking over time. I work on older electronic equipment and there is something about the older wire where it is flexible but durable. Silicone is almost too flexible and it pierces/slices too easy. I like the dispenser box this comes in and I like the wire, good value for the money overall. I'm willing to pay for what I really want, I just can't find it.

Just a heads-up. Initially I thought it was me messing up, but having wasted several hours and a pile of connector sockets I found there was no way I could reliably crimp JST-PH connectors onto this wire. Finally I realized I'd recently bought this wire and that I'd previously been using 22awg wire from a different vendor with no problems. I went to my scrap box and dug up a sample of the wire from the other vendor that I'd been using problem-free since 2019 until I ran out. The insulation on this wire is about 0.006" larger in diameter than the older wire. I just re-ordered from the original vendor and am keeping my fingers crossed that they haven't also increased their insulation diameter. That may be why the vendor mentions that the OD is 1.7mm, oh well It'll do for some other use I guess....

This wire was just what I needed. Always end up not having the right color wire when I need it. Really like the box with the holes to. Makes getting just what you need without a mess.

These are a little stiffer than the silicone sheathed versions, but that's not an issue for my use. I did like that the rolls came with a little Velcro retention strap to keep the spools together during shipping. Now I have extra cable straps! The center conductor strands are thin, but manageable. You just have to be sure you use a proper stripper and twisting technique before tinning or a strand or two will easily get away from you.

I used this 22awg wire to rewire a guitar. It worked well no issues. Very handy little box with the wires sticking out for easy access.

Worked as advertised. Good price for getting multicolored wires for cable fabrication.

Although the listing and the barcode says this is PVC coated, it's actually Silicone. Maybe it was mis-labeled...? Other than that, it's OK wire. I will keep it because I need some 22 ga. wire - I'm all out.
