My 2000 grand Cherokee has the factory Infinity speakers. The tweeters needed to be replaced as they were staticky and muddy at best, ruining the rest of the system. especially when the volume was cranked up. I opted for these due to the price and reviews, I'm very happy I did because the build quality seems high and the sound quality is amazing. I expected a lower quality sound but I guess the technology advancement has improved over the last 17 years. Installation took all of 15 minutes: - pop off the entire dash trim that covers the speakers. (This piece is the length of your dash) - disconnect factory speakers by pressing in the tab on the white clip. - remove the two screws on both sides of the factory speakers. - replace factory speakers with your new jgcparts speakers. - put the screws back in - connect speakers clips - install trim panel -enjoy!

I have a 2002 Grand Cherokee (WJ). Got the powerbass versions, they lasted like 6 years. Then got these two years ago. Sound quality is good for 2.75 inch full range drivers, and yes the system sends the full frequency range to them so don't buy tweeters. Product is good but one of the speakers went out and JGC took care of me, and I mean quick. Big thumbup to this seller so buy with confidence if you need a 2.75 full range driver for Jeep when yours inevitably go out.

Used on a 99 model WJ Jeep to replace one aftermarket that had blown. Went ahead and replaced both with these new speakers. For the size, these speakers give impressive sound quality when used with other speakers in the complete system. They are plug n play with no needed modification to a Jeep WJ.

Fit and worked perfectly

I already had problems before I even hooked these up. In the instructions it actually says make sure the terminals are not touching the magnet. Sure enough all of them were touching the magnet. Why? I have no idea. So I had to bend all of the terminals down away from the magnets. On one of the speakers, the piece that holds the positive and negative terminals into place broke as I was bending the terminal away from the magnet. These have a lifetime warranty and I imagine it would get replaced if I insisted, but I don't feel like waiting another week, so I just wrapped everything an electrical tape. The cover material was also coming off on that same speaker. I will keep my fingers crossed. I can't compare these to the stock speakers as they were already blown when I bought the Jeep. But these sound much different than the powerbass speakers that I had previously installed (and can't recommend because one of them blew shortly after warranty). Anyways, these are MUCH brighter than the powerbass. I had bought some tweeters to install because the lack of high end on the powerbass speakers. I don't need to do that now, they have plenty of high end. Hopefully these hold up, but they have lifetime warranty, and that's why I bought them. I'm giving 3 stars because of the terminal issues. 4 stars on the sound. 5 stars on ease of installation

I've had these speakers for about a week now and I must say that I am genuinely impressed. I am a rather eclectic listener so a variety of genres have been played and they all sound great. I cannot believe how loud they get while maintaining a clear sound. JGCParts has really produced a wonderful product and I would absolutely recommend these speakers to anyone. Install Notes: If you think these speakers are hard to install, you are flat out wrong. I was able to remove the old and install the new in under 10 minutes. The directions on their website are very accurate and descriptive with pictures included. With the wire harness pre-installed on the speakers, install was literally a snap. Anyone could put these in with ease. I forgot to mention that the speakers have a lifetime guarantee. That is amazing and you never see that these days. This company is standing behind a great product with an amazing warranty. How could you possibly go wrong?

Why didn't I buy these sooner? Fit perfectly in my 2001 jeep wj. It's only the first day but the sound is amazing and way better than the junk that comes stock in these jeeps. Unbelievable price. I'll review again in a few months to let you know how they hold up.
