Bone Tactical NPE Ghost Knife

I'm buying another. This tool is unique in its class of products, being non-metallic. I truly believe this is the most useful and innovative design among the options out there today in this segment. The two most common options are G10 (or a similar polymer composite - essentially hard plastic ) or ceramic (extremly brittle - often containing small amounts of metal, which really defeats the purpose). This came well sharpened, and thoughtfully designed. This is a functional cutting tool. G10 cannot hold this type of edge (e.g., cold steel FGX series), and ceramic breaks easily. There are many legitimate reasons why one may want a non-metallic cutting tool. That is up to the user. Very few steel knives resist rust/corrosion in wet/humid environments as an example. Perhaps the user has another reason to avoid a steel blade. Whatever the reason may be, this is the obvious choice. Thoughtfully designed, sharp edged, designed with care and creativity and a focus on the end-user.

Great tool to have in arsenal especially for the price it's sharp and I personally liked the way it fit in sheath it was grippy and functioned great I put the clasp in a lot of different positions and ripped the knife out and did not have a problem once with the clasp coming undone

The very nature of this Ghost knife makes it very lightweight and thus extremely comfortable for a neck knife. Appears well designed. Is definitely sharp. I can see myself wearing this knife as regularly as my dog tags.

I have another ceramic knife that discontinued many years ago but it’s much too big to carry around the neck. This is perfect and as I found when I received it, I tested it with my minelab metal detector and pointer and it does not register, indicating it is actually a fully non metallic knife. And for anyone working around marine environments it’s nice because it cannot rust, ever. But as was mentioned ceramic is brittle so it can’t be used for prying or things like that but that’s a known acceptance with ceramic blades and if you take care of it it will last a lifetime. I think the blade size and shape is perfect for what it’s designed for and the grip is extremely comfortable and feels solid in the hand even if your hands are wet for some reason. In fact I just purchased three more as gifts for my buddies for Christmas this year.

The knife seems to be pretty good quality and sharp! The only problem is when wearing the sheath around the neck, the snap to hang around your neck comes undone before the knife can be unsheathed! I’m hoping with some work it will loosen up or I’ll have to invest in a better clasp. Overall not bad though.
