Probably the oil and sugar are higher than conventional peanut butter to make this a pourable sauce; the cornstarch is likely just there as a thickener. **Q: Is this anything like the pb sauce/ripple in ice cream?** A: This is best as a topping. If you’ve gone to an ice cream shop, like Friendly’s or similar, this is the warm PB topping they put on the top. Just warm it up and pour over.
