YAMAHA BRAND IS EXACTLY AS PICTURED
Ordered this Yamaha basic outboard motor cover for my 50 HP Yamaha motor; am extremely pleased w/the color, shape, and fit. First one I ordered exactly for a 50, and it wouldn't even begin to fit...way too small; so I ordered up the 2nd time, ( to fit a 80-100) and it is a super fit; covers the entire motor, wires, etc., doesn't flap in the wind at all; it's perfect. The drawstring at the bottom is a real plus for a super fit. I've only had it for a few weeks; hence cannot say how long it'll last, but it seems extremely sturdy. I fish and cruise in salt water (living on the coast), am very careful to wash the salt water off the boat and motor, dry it all completely; thus no water stains or rust, and the entire rig looks like brand new. My suggestion is to order up for a good fit; so glad to find it on Amazon.

Perfect fit
This fit my 2022 Yamaha VMaxs snugly, which should help keep it on in high winds. The snug fit makes it a bit hard to get on, but I am getting better with practice. Seems durable. Time will tell.

Basic Yamaha Outboard Motor Cover F80 F100 F115
This seems to be a fairly good quality engine cover. I've used it on a 115 hp Yamaha outboard engine and they last a good 2-3 years before showing wear and tearing from wind, sun, rain etc. The material could be more durable but the fit is good and protects the engine and cover nicely.

Exact fit for my 2017 F115LB Outboard Engine. Good Fit and High Quality Materials and Construction
It isn't clear in the description or drawing, but the cover has a strong elastic band sewn in around the bottom edge to help hold it in position. There is also an attached strap at the front, with an adjustable plastic buckle to further secure it once installed. My only gripe is that there are some color/shade variations among the different sections of material. But, I suppose after a few months constant exposure to UV rays it won't really matter anymore. Most importantly, the quality is good and the fit is perfect. This cover is definitely more expensive than the other generic covers to be sure, but worth it to me. I would buy again.
