Absolutely delicious. Be aware These are super strong with garlic and pork flavor and smell. If you do not love both of those things do not buy these. When you first put the garlic oil into the hot soup you are in for a surprise. For the garlic lover in your life this will be perfect. amazing value. Size is average. Super easy to make. Cooks in about 5 minutes.

My favorite flavor of ramen. So fast and filling. Can’t seem to keep it in my home thanks to my grandson’s love of this. I only use 1/2 of the packet and save the rest in a spice jar for cooking other things

I bought my first pack of this Nissin ramen after hearing it's what the chef at my favorite local ramen place makes for himself in a pinch. This was his favorite flavor. On a whim, I ordered a Nissin variety pack here on Amazon, and this was included. As sad as I feel typing this, if made per the instructions, this ramen is better than what many local ramen shops offer, and I live in a very multinational, very large city. This black garlic is by far my favorite flavor, but the miso tonkatsu and shoyu tonkatsu flavors aren't far behind. I've eaten a LOT of packaged ramen in my lifetime. In my earlier years, it's because I was dirt poor. These days, it's out of love, enjoyment, and exploration. Out of dozens upon dozens of ramen, this is, hands-down, the best bagged ramen I've ever tasted. Try it. You won't be disappointed. At the price point, it's a total steal!

The Black Garlic Oil Ramen has quickly become one of my most favorite flavors to date. So much, that this is now my 2nd ordering of the 30 ct. (Ate nearly all of the 30 packages, so I had to take a break last Winter lol) The flavor can be hard to describe to some degree. It's not an over powering garlic, instead it adds a good blend in the balance of the over all flavor. While not entirely sure what the "base" flavor would be, between myself and others, I tend to believe it has a pork base to it, though it's not over powering either. While I don't add anything to ramen like you would find in a restaurant, if I was going to attempt to do so though, this would be without a doubt the flavor to do it with. I can imagine just how more savory it could be with other ingredients added in. There are 2 packets, one a dry seasoning (which as mentioned prior I believe to be of a pork flavor), and a liquid packet that holds the black garlic oil. And yes, it is black. Unfortunately, unless you are lucky enough to have a store that you can buy them individually, 30ct is a risk as you may not like them. I would suggest search for it and maybe find luck with a much smaller count, or as a friend did, found a variety pack that had 3 additional flavors. (Though it was agreed this was the best flavor over the others.) I personally would highly recommend it, even though Ramen in stores tend to be far more cheaper in cost, this is simply not a flavor I've ever seen at a store. At the moment I write this, 12/8/19, the 30ct costs $24. Cheaper than the last time I bought them if my memory serves me correctly by about $5.

I can't compliment these noodles enough. They are a little on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you pay for. Just don't eat more than one package a day, because each one is about 90% of your daily recommended sodium content!!

I'm Japanese and I crave for authentic Japanese ramen time to time. I live in London so I have an access to many Japanese supermarkets where I can buy authentic Japanese food. On Amazon, it's very difficult, but now I found this! I won't eat on its own of course, but it's great if you follow what Japanese would eat Ramen: if you are Japanese you'll be adding an half boiled egg sliced in half, wakame seaweed or steamed spinach/broccoli, nori seaweed, chopped spring onions, and cooked meat. The great thing about this version of the instant noodle is that you get to taste roasted black sesame in garlic oil, all you have to do is to add extra love with delicious ingredients!

Nice amount of noodles. Rich creamy like broth. The black garlic comes in it's own flavor package seperate from the flavor pouch. Very tasty and one of the best I've tried. Package came in great condition and all packages sealed and within best before dates. Will order again.
