I've typically put all my "digital stuff" on my desk to charge it and I hated it taking up all that surface space and cluttering up things. I found this outlet and it seemed like exactly what I needed to make a charging drawer. I *wish* it could have had more USB ports, as you can see from the photo that I used a mini USB hub to get myself more. Otherwise, this is a nearly perfect solution to my charging problem. Charges all the things I need on a regular basis, and now keeps them stored away safely and cleanly. In case you're curious, I cut a piece of scrap Melamine I had in the garage to create the fake back "wall" to my drawer. Then I cut a hole for the out let to sit into. I ran the power cable up and over the back of the actual drawer, and cut a hole in the rear of the drawer unit to plug it in. Review: Really neat solution - Pros: + Flat plug + Very low-profile over desk-top surface (~3/16"?) + Cord is sufficient length for my application + Included two screws for mounting to the desktop Cons: - I didn't see an instruction page or a template. - When installed in a desk-top, the receptacles are going to gather dust over time, so be proactive with blowing them out. The "Pros" speak for themselves. The product worked great for the application, and my wife loves it. The fact that it doesn't protrude much from the surface it is mounted to means we can still use that desktop area when nothing is plugged in. The only real "Con" for me was the lack of a cutting template or instructions. It's very straight-forward, and it wasn't hard to measure and mark out the cut area on my desk-top, but a template would be a great addition. Installation was simple, but required a drill and a jigsaw. There may be other ways to do it, but that's what I used. One suggestion for design improvement is to have the cord come out at a 45 degree angle from the bottom, with a channel leading to the side. This would make cable management easier, allowing users to route the cable straight down (as it is on the current design) or horizontally to run along the underside of a desk or into cable management channels. Overall, great product. I may update later as I try out the USB ports more.

Perfect for dead space
Perfect for dead space. I had a set of cabinets that had dead space on one side so I ran power within the panel with no cords that are visible and it makes a perfect charging station I do wish that it had a USB-C with it. But I would recommend it

Easy to install, works great!
It's great to get all the cords off the counter and into a drawer. It was super easy to install.

Great! But include a template!
Fantastic product, just mildly annoying that they don't include a template. It would be so easy to include one.

USB power
It’s a good product the USB ports are only 1amp so they don’t charge phones fast at all but work fine for Xbox controllers and stuff

Great addition to my kitchen drawer!
My daughter and I installed this into a kitchen drawer that has a tall cabinet with plug access. There is a template on the package, and we easily figured out where to place it. I know have an official charging station in my kitchen that is hidden.
