This is a very comfortable, well made baby seat. We switch from our previous Maxi Cosi after our little one got restless facing backwards at about 16 months and was ready to see the world. He goes into this one easily and enjoys the view. It's very comfortable and he sleeps in it well.I like the fact this seat will grow with him, meaning that while it's a larger upfront investment it should work out more cost effective in the long run.

Absolutely disappointed with this item. The car seat was great itself at first. I bought it for this expensive price as an investment for the future, it supposed to last for at least couple of years.Less than two years in the headrest fell off, the styrofoam cracked in half, for no reason. It was middle of the journey when my daughter stated to complain that the seat is hurting her back. When we stopped we saw that the headrest come off. Now I question safety of that seat! I’ll contact the seller as this is total disgrace to sell this kind of item, such a healthy hazard for the little ones. I’m speechless. Avoid!EDIT: Contacted amazon customer care, they couldn’t do anything anymore as it was almost two years post buying.Then I contacted Maxi cosi customer care, they offered to fix the car seat for additional £90 ….. obviously I didn’t agreed to that so finally they agreed to fix it for free. DPD has lost my car seat so I’m getting new replacement of different model. Never give up. It was manufactured fault and no matter what they say to you stand up for your rights!

We did a lot of research for car seats and found this to be the best one for our circumstance - we don't own a car and wanted to have a chair for the occasional car trips. Our daughter's pram is a Maxi Cosi and this car seat does not disappoint. She always falls asleep easily in this seat in the car and she appears to be very comfortable when sat in for 3hrs (she napped for that long!). We bought it when this was on an offer and really glad we caught that in time. Well worth the investment!

Like many others, the headrest was broken on arrival. Ordered a replacement which came quickly but was not easy to return the broken one as I had to take to my local Hermes point and this was not easy by myself as it was a heavy large box! Replacement seat seems fine, easy to install and seems solid and my baby fits in it fine.

My daughter feels safe and comfortable in it. Only a little tricky to find out how to safely instal the belt away from toddler ‘s neck, but there is a way. I would recommend it.

Were totally happy with it for 10 moths. But then suddenly the head cushion (support that goes round the child's head area) has came off itself and now we cannot use the seat as it doesn't seem safe. It looks like it was simply glued to the plastic base and now somehow it came off. Very appalling quality, this part I would say is one of the most essential for safe travel as it supposed to keep child's head safe. It supposed to be used till the child is 12 years old. My child is not even 2 years old and it has broke already.

Using the car seat for our grandson 12months old. Easy to install. I was not aware of the 3rd Centre / rear ISOfix fixing until I read the installation instructions.

On the face of it this looks and feels like a good multi group car seat, which will always have limited benefits compared to buying a new seat for each group your child grows into. It's sturdy (aka really bloody heavy) and fitting it into our Jeep Compass with the top tether and Isofix was straightforward. My main complaints are how well it supports and safely restrains my almost 3 year old daughter. She looks really hunched in it compared to her previous seat (a Britax Romer Dualfix iSize which is flawless, albeit pricey) and always complains it hurts her. The 5 point harness is ridiculously tight, even when she is just in a vest and t shirt it is a struggle to slide the straps into place to fasten, and the buckle is rigid so digs into her legs and very stiff to clip in place. We have taken it out and checked it and reinstalled it multiple times, thinking we were being stupid, too used to her old one, or that the harness had got caught somewhere inside the mechanism, but it hasn't. Will be complaining and returning.
