The kit is well packaged to ensure the display not damaged in transit. The provided tools are good quality - much better than previous kits. The screw mat is a great idea to avoid getting the screws mixed up when it comes to reassembly. I didn’t use the included instructions, I’d recommend the iFixIt videos on YouTube. I’ve probably done about 10 replacement screens of the years so it was a relatively easy job for me - done in 10 minutes. If you’re new to this take your time and be gentle - the ribbon cables are very fragile. You’ll also need a steady hand and good eyesight - the screws are tiny! Screen quality is very good - bright with good colours. Sensitivity of the touch panel is also excellent. I don’t think the average user would be able to tell the difference between this screen and an original Apple display.
