Q: Will this work with 1 Gigabit internet or will my speed be slower?

Your speed will be slower. The firewall throughput says 250mb. I have a 500mb connection and was able to push 330mb but that is the highest I have seen it go when using Speedtest websites. I hope they produce another meraki go gateway with 500mb or 1gb firewall throughput.

Q: If gx20 cannot handle port vlan, tagged 1.q vlan or ipv6 packet, how we can segment with glanular connectivity??

Hello, The Meraki GO GX20 can handle VLANs. You can assign VLAN to a LAN port. The GX20 LAN ports default to trunk mode with Allowed VLANs set to all. Q: Do i need this gateway in order to mesh multiple meraki ap's? i want to cover my 2500' house with 3-4 ap's.

This gateway is not required for the use of their APs however... it makes it more convenient. Bear in Mind this Gateway maxes out at around 150 mbs down. Which is fairly low if you are using good internet you may want to consider the gateway plus.
