This was better than I hoped! It looks lovely and the handle is made of a continuous piece of horn, not simply a fragment glued on. It came in a lovely sack so the presentation was perfect for a gift. My husband loves it!!

I have a collection of various Viking mugs. I have yet to buy one that leaked or that did not keep the liquid cold or hot! I did get one and it had a slight chip on handle, but the moment I contacted the seller they replaced it and did not ask me for the old one back.

The only part of this set I'm unhappy with is the spoon it warps and bends under high temperatures. The only other thing I wish could be a bit flater is the plate I think it's made from horn and they probably did the best they could. The horn mug itself is grate. The mug cools quite quickly. When making tea and when it's cold out the heat penatrates nicely keeping hands warm.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. There is some imperfections to it, but that was to be expected and they aren't a huge deal at all. It is a bit difficult to clean when the shape of the horn. I would buy this again. Though it is very important that it is cleaned and dried immediately after useor it can degrade the horn over time. It is hand wash only.

Even if you never drank out of it, the thing just looks cool sitting there on your desk. The shape and craftsmanship is really nice. If I had to pick anything to complain about, it might be that I'd have liked a fatter horn to fit more drink. :-)

Feels good in the hand but did not plan for a white one, all pics are with dark colors and that is what I was looking for. Quality seems good but this white pale horn isn't very good looking. Even the plate is dark in color so not sure what is going on here.

I was happy to finally had a a horn cup for hot coffee. Although it looked small it hold a good 14 ounces which is good. Another horn to my collection.
