Very good product but new batch not so good (see update from 2026)
I cannot speak to the durability of the product as I have not worn them for long period of time (had them for about 3 months) but I can speak to the comfort. It is outstanding. I have also Rev-it pants that I simply do not want to wear. Those budget pants have wonderful adjustment straps on the waste and around the ankles that work perfect for me. They are good looking and have not torn in any spots so far. I ride a 2015 BMW R1200GS Adventure. I do not go off-road, as I'm not capable of handling it but ride a lot on tarmac and really no issues so far. I never tried the inner liner for water protection but if you don't wear it they will get wet 100%. I have rain suit and this is what I put on top of the normal jacket and pants. Very comfy, just came back from a ride and again I reached out for those pants and not the Rev-it. As a side note, there is no thermal liner that comes with the pants but honestly I put a pair of long johns and that works. Otherwise it's a lot of work to put on and take off those liners anyways. March 2026: Update on the HWK pants after riding them for 3 years. They are great for the price. Of course they started falling apart as the quality is lower than a $300 pants but at this price point if you are not traveling around the worlds it's totally acceptable. What is not acceptable is the new style buttons they put on. I purchased a new pair after 3 years to replace the old one. The photos will show the difference. The new buttons come undone just by looking at them, let alone when you sit down on the motorcycle and all that pressure goes to the waist line. That is the part that is needed the most to protect you from wind drafts. I've been in communication with the manufacturer/seller for over 4 months now and they still cannot tell me if they have the old button style in stock.

Very Good Value!
Surprisingly good value & quality. Fits nicely. Pants come with a non-breathable inner liner. Remove it & throw it in the garbage. Your legs will sweat so much, it will fill your boots up. : -)

A Great Pant
These are a phenomenally great pair of motorcycle pants. I have no idea how they can sell these for the price and stay in business. I'm looking to replace my Olympia XMoto pants that sell for $350 and these come very close. There's some nice design touches to these. The waistband is tall, which is handy to support the weight of the pants. The front closes with a snap, and the sides snug up with a waistband strap with a velcro attachment. The front vents in the thighs are large and look like they'd be very functional. I'm not sure that outlining the opening in hi-vis yellow will be seen by motorists, but it looks nicely done. It seems like a quality design without even loose threads. Fit: this is where I feel it could use some improvement. I wear a 34-36 inch pant size, so that's what I ordered. With a pair of jeans on, they fit well in the seat...but trying to get my pant legs down in the HWK pant leg is tight. And the zipper is only up to the calf, not all the way down the side of the leg. Some motorcycle pants are designed to be worn over just your underwear, so I tried them like that. The legs feel snug, but okay. However, then the hip area is too large. You may have a different experience with a different size. These were 34-36 short. My advice would be to consider these as motorcycle pants that replace your jeans and order a waist size smaller than you normally wear. Like that, they'd be great. I did have one concern about the knee armor. When my legs are bent, the armor doesn't center on my knee. Would it be effective in a crash? There may have been some adjustment available, but I didn't notice it.

Top Product
This is my second pair of these HWK Cargo Pants. These pants are well made, durable, and comfortable. I use them for off-road motorcycling, they are great for enduro and hard trail riding. Also have built in protection inserts and have a removable lining along with selectable leg venting. One of the best features is they have well made large zipper pockets. These pants are not light but given all the features are well worth the weight, since they can reduce some of the other gear weight load (like knee pads and packs). And the price is hard to beat. Strongly recommended.

Excellent product, especially for the price!
First of all I see reviews trying to compare these to $300 riding gear. They're $53 bucks. I bought these to use while I find the $300 gear I want. They work great. Armor (foam) in the knees and hips. I don't believe the instructions about yellow side in are correct for the knee armor. I tried and they just won't form. When out riding, I won't be taking off trail boot and pants to put on rain liner so I used waterproof spray on the pants. I wear light shorts on the I side. The vents work but in order to really force air in, the rider has to be standing so extra great for offroad riding. The fit is good. Yes the waste could use better placement of the Velcro patch as sinching them up leaves a flap. Remember $53. I went riding off road all day and they were comfortable, kept normal wallet crap off my butt and were easy getting up and down off the seat lots. I saw the reviews reference the crotch pad so looked as soon as I got them to see if the stitching was too close to the edge of the material. I've done leather work in the past so knew what to look for. It was not. I did notice what appears to be bad cuts by a dull material/shape cutting machine that gave the appearance of what I saw in previous review pictures. So a flaw in cutting (appearance) not in stitching (function). Not noticable and trust me no one is admiring your butt in these kind of pants anyway. AND THEY'RE $53. Overall I'm thinking of getting a second set so I can swap out pants on longer trips. I would recommend these and they're $53. Ride safe.

this is probably the best pair of riding pants i have worn very comfortable seems to be really warm look is very nice design is very nice fits well iam 5 8 160 lbs ordered a 32 34 waist and it is very comfortable over jeans which is how i will wear them all the time got the 32 inseam which might be a little long but with boots on works out good only issue i have is the rain pant insert has zippers on bottom of both legs which is a good thing but the zippers are installed inside the leg which will make it hard to zip or unzip contacted the company and was told this is done to help protect your legs from being scratched in my opinion if this is what they are worried about then just remove the zipper option i know some people will complain that they might not be able to get the pant leg over their boots but the leg opening does seem to be wide enough but that being said i am not about to put the product down because of this issue i just want to let other buyers be aware of this so that they dont make the same mistake i made and contact company and tell them that they pants where made inside out that is not the case they are supposed to be like this so if you are looking for a really nice pair of riding pants and dont want to spend an and a leg on them then this is the company to go to great product and good company they where very fast in getting back to me on the issue

One time use only, the sewing split open in the groin area. LOOK NICE NOT WORTH IT.

Worn once so far and very impressed. Haven't tried in rain. Comfortable, good vents. Material seems tough. Similar to $400 pants I tried at the bike dealers.

Insane value. These pants have the works and seem to be very well made. Heaps of pockets and zippers. Vents seem to be ok. I removed the liner because it is summer here. I would have preferred next size down but those were out of stock. Extremely pleased with them.
