Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Black Garlic Pepper, 4 ounce (Pack of 1)

I saw this seasoning and thought...Wow....what a concept. Two great seasonings in one!! It was almost magical...on everything it touched!! This was a great deal....with super fast delivery.

This is a remarkably useful part of my daily cooking. Use it all of the time.

I've tried multiple varieties of the Happy Belly brand seasonings. I tried them for the reasonable prices but I've found the quality of them all to be very good. This garlic pepper is no exception. The blend has a good balance of garlic and pepper. There is a little more salt than I was expecting but the flavor is good. I normally mix my own using black pepper and garlic powder. I think this was probably made using garlic salt instead of garlic powder. I will continue to make my own for recipes that I want to have a stronger garlic flavor and less salt. I tried this blend for the convenience and it works well for seasoning fish and meats. It was worth the price of purchase.

I use this for everything, even frying tortillas! I love the taste it adds to my food.

I am generally a Lawry's fan, but in this case, the flavor of the Happy Belly Garlic Pepper is better than Lawry's. I like to use it to season what my daughter calls "diet fries" and it makes them delicious without them being too salty at all. I think it's pricey, but for now, it's worth it.I wrote this review a while ago and wanted to update to say that over time the recipe has not changed and I still love this seasoning. It's great on rice, veggies, alt plant meat, and generally everything that isn't sweet. And, I get it when it's on "sale" so it's about the same cost as Mccormick now.

We have been putting it on everything lately - meat, fish, veggies. Adds nice flavor in one easy seasoning.
