The order arrived promptly. It was well packaged and easy to unroll. The pad adds the perfect amount of cushion to the rug. It also holds the rug securely in place.

We have recently completed a full remodel of our home. We are at the stage of adding area rugs on the hardwood floors. I'm concerned about damaging the hardwood floors so I have purchased rug pads for all of our rugs. Since we are buying rugs as we go I have also been buying the pads and unfortunately I had not found one that I have been fully satisfied with until I purchased the Mockins pad. First and foremost it is as described, most pads are smaller than the stated size and are cut uneven. This is the full size and is squarely cut. Since most rugs vary in size a little trimming is generally necessary. The square cut along with the pattern allows you to trim it exactly and easily. Additionally, I was surprised that it actually feels padded since my sole purpose is to protect the floor and to keep the rug from sliding. This product is excellent on all accounts. The only down side is that I am seriously thinking about replacing all the previous pads I just bought before I found this one.

Product works well on wooden floors and is fairly priced for the size and quality. Delivery was fast and saved me from dealing with the holiday shoppers. It prevents the carpet from slipping on the newly refinished hardwood floor - and looks like it should provide good protection of the floor.

Good rug pads like this one are expensive but so worth it. Every time you step on the rug it will feel so much more stable and comfy. It will look better, wear better, and stay in place better. You deserve it and so does your rug!

Nope, doesn't wrinkle beneath the rug. The cut size was an accurate 4'x 6'. No odor. No flaking. Goldilocks says, "not too thick, not too thin. Just right!". The problem is that it doesn't have an "IRON GRIP". What shifts it? the cats sliding across it, stubbing it with your toe (hard), picking it up to move it on purpose and doesn't leave any residue on the floor. Understand that it doesn't shift in a light breeze, I'd just like it to be a little more "adhesive".

Exactly what I needed. I recently put down new flooring and I needed something to recent the rug from moving. I used this product, a layer of padding, then the rug. It works perfectly! Size was exactly what I needed - I did have to trim about a foot, which was very easy to do with scissors. It’s adhesive without being sticky which is exactly what it should be.

Though it is referred to as a rug pad, I bought it in hopes that it would stop my sofa cushions from sliding forward each time I got up. I cut the pad to fit under each sofa cushion, they've been in place for several days and the cushions have not moved. There is an odor to this product but for me it was not a concern because I could not smell it once it was under cushions. There is plenty of the pad left over which I am going to use to stop my mattress from sliding around. I paid $14.99 for the 5' x 7' size, well worth it me for being rid of the annoyance of sliding cushions and mattress.

This carpet pad had a challenge. I repurposed my unused greenhouse into a study (with heat). I placed the pad between a 6 x 9 sheet of plywood and carpet. It worked out perfectly. There was no odor. It does not appear to be attracting moisture and it cushions the rug which was inexpensive to feel as if it was thick. (I wanted a polyester rug for moisture control.) It does not move at all.

As stated, comfy on the feet but constantly repositioning on vinyl floor.

This carpet pad had good reviews and a great price, so I decided to buy it to put under a new area rug. I opened the packaging and found it had a really strong chemical smell. I opened the packaging and spread it out on my balcony for two days. Once the area rug arrived, I brought it inside. There was still a faint smell, but once under the rug, it was undetectable. It does a great job keeping the rug in place and has made it feel even thicker. I am very happy with this purchase, but do want to warn people that they definitely need to air it out (preferably outside!) before using. This arrived on time and was well packaged.
