I suggest that you go out on a couple of rides and take your tools to make the proper adjustments on the grips. My first ride made my fingers and hands numb. I went on a couple of rides made a couple of adjustments along the trails and the pain on my wrist is almost gone, the numbness is definitely gone. I ride about 10-30 miles a week. At first I had my doubts because of the way they look thought it was funny looking but my old grips keep giving me too much pain. I’ve only been riding for about a year and a half, after 20 years of not riding bicycles. I bought the Odi grips thinking they were good based on reviews. I bought them for my GT last year and then upgrade to the Giant Trance . They kept giving me too much pain on my wrist . This grips are easy to install and it’s texture is real comfortable. I will continue to make any adjustments until I find the perfect setting. My only critique is I don’t like the end caps with the white design. I think it would’ve looked nicer with black, that is just a personal preference though.
