A perfect fit, even though it doesn't seem like it.
I bought this for my Samsung WF42H5000AW/A2 and it's been working great for several loads of laundry now. On first try, it seemed to be about 4 inches too long, but before giving in to despair I decided to try just squooshing it more compactly during installation, and it was a perfect fit. (On the first try I'd stretched it a bit to make it thin enough to fit in the groove, but the key is to squoosh it in instead of stretching it).

Samsung O-Ring help if this looks a lot bigger than your O-ring
I’m sure this works great on some washing machines, so I’m not going to bash the seller or the product, but one of the other reviews said this worked great on a Samsung WF50K7500AW which is NOT TRUE. this O-ring is way too big for that particular model at least. You can manage to get it into the groove with a lot of effort but the tubs will not fit together correctly and you risk leaks since the O-ring cannot properly compress. Measure your oring groove on your tub. If it’s ballpark 4.5mm then consider getting 10ft of 50A durometer 4mm oring cord stock and some 404 loctite. Clean the ends of the oring with IPA and put a little dot of the 404 on and make your oring the same size as the original. Hold it for about 20 seconds and the bond will be very strong. Give it about 10 minutes and put it in the groove. Then after an hour assemble the tub halves. If you have a different model then measure the groove or a part of the original O-ring and make sure 4mm size will work good for you. You can try to imagine what size it was before it got compressed which might help. If I had to do it over again I would not have removed the original oring from the groove and just did my best to clean it up in place. Once you remove it, you will likely never get it back the way it was, and since it compressed and deformed (compression set) in certain areas different than others- you can roll the dice and put it back in or do what I did and get the oring stock. Those are the options I found anyway since Samsung doesn’t seem to offer the oring for my washer. If you have a larger oring groove then maybe this one will work great for you. hope this helps someone

Perfect fit - One Tip for a secure installation
This was just a "while I'm in here" replacement. One thing I noted which I'd not seen any instruction or notes on that should be done to be extra certain your tub won't leak: There is a butt glued joint in this seal (all have one, not just this brand). Because the glued joint could be a potential point of failure, before you start inserting the new seal, find the glue joint and put it at the top of your front loading tub; that way it will never be under water.

Fit as described.
Item worked correctly the Alignment of the glued ends could have been a little better but I put it at the top and it seems to be functioning as described I am pleased.

Worked great.
It's a tub seal, fit perfectly and was easy to install. If you take your washing machine tub apart. Replace it or you will be sorry.

I used this to replace the leaking tub on my Samsung dishwasher. No leaks so far. Please note that my previous seal had a square profile, and this one is round. It appears Samsung has changed the design of this piece, and this round seal is compatible. I hope it proves more effective than the one I’m replacing!

Bought this product to replace the one in our Samsung washing machine. The reason we bought it is because it sports the correct part number. Unfortunately however the o-ring diameter is too large and will not fit inside its intended groove. This being the case, we can't help but wonder as to how did its manufacturer come to assign the part number DC69-00804A to a product that is clearly not compatible, as far as dimensions go, with the original? Thank you Amazon for a hassle free return and a full refund.
