Where in the USA is Carmen Sandiego? - PC

I really love this game. I love the graphics, the annimation, the chief. The puzzles are medium in difficulty. Not real easy by not so hard it is discouraging and you want to quit. The only problem is it causes my computer to lock up sometimes, but I think I have this problem figuried out.As you start to solve where the thief has gone and you have enough clues, DO NOT out run the computer. Let the people finish talking, then click to the next move. This is an excellent learning game and you won't waste your money buying it. I know it says it is for kids, but I'm a grandma and I love it for my self.

This is exactly what I expected! People who are unhappy with it and it didn’t work for probably had a newer version of XP. Some of tbt newer versions weren’t always compatible with these older games. I have an old Windows 98 computer my dad saved and I used that. The game worked perfectly and was exactly as I remembered it from childhood!!

It did not work on my computer like I wanted it to.

The CD came a day before it was suppose to arrive. I opened the package and even though it was wrapped and 'new', the case was dented/cracked. Luckily, I downgraded my quicktime player and the game plays great. Important thing is that it works. But the CD itself isn't Windows XP compatible, as the picture described. 3/5 for the seller. I'm satisfied, but the game was not what was shown.

Do not purchase this game unless you have an old system with Windows 98, XP, 2000, etc-check the requirements first!!! Our oldest laptop has windows 7-I even changed the bits from 64 to 32 and it still won’t work 😔 We are so sad, this was a gift to my 11 year old. It’s ridiculous trying to find an old laptop somewhere just so he can play this game! Sooo dumb!!

I purchased this to install on my Windows 7 computer. To install, I had to open the File Explorer. Right click on the CDRom where the CD is. Click on Install. From there I followed the prompts. Works great so far!

It runs but I can’t see the video of the chief talking, I can only hear her. I’m sure it’s a QuickTime issue but i can’t seem to figure this one out.
