I'm the kind of person who likes to include ice in their water and for me personally, this lid is the best way to have ice in your Hydroflask. I've seen a few mentions of other people's lids leaking but for me, this hasn't been an issue, the cup includes a handy red marker to indicate when the lid is fully closed to avoid any leakage. I've tried the other line of hyrdroflask lids and for me, this has been the best one yet.

I love this lid. It not only serves its function but you can take it apart and clean it thoroughly and then reassemble it with ease. The handle is fantastic and I find myself carrying it around like a handbag it its not carabinered to my bag . I've had this lid for around 2 years now and it hasn't broken or worn. Would definitely recommend!

I got this to go on my Klean Kanteen as I could not stand their own lids. This one is so much nicer to drink from as well as easier to clean and has a handle which the old KK did not have.

PRICE At £14 this lid is expensive - I’ve bought decent water bottles for that price; however, my partner and I had already committed to buying the Hydroflask ~1L and were so impressed by it that I even went and bought a 1.9L bottle too. I got two of these lids, with the intention of swapping mine as and when depending on the bottle I’m using, and am fairly impressed. EASE OF USE These lids are definitely easier to use on the smaller wide mouth bottles as you are taking the whole weight of the bottle mainly on your wrist when you drink from it. I work in a bar so am used to flipping large bottles over with my wrist alone and still occasionally need to use two hands to support my 1.9L. That being said it is doable and becomes comfortable after time. LEAK PROOFING When we first received these lids, I got drenched every time I tried to take a drink and my partner could not get any water to come out of hers. I’ve kind of figured out the best way to fit the lid but with no real instruction on the packaging it was very trial and error. It would seem that if you screw the lid on too tight nothing will come out and obviously if you don’t screw it on tight enough it will leak. Also when drinking be careful not to tip the bottle too far or it will leak from the air inlet hole. That being said when the lid is in the closed position nothing’s getting out of it so I can carry it around in my bag with my laptop etc without any worries. CLEANING The lid has a rubber gasket on the inside and breaks down into three parts. This makes it very easy and convenient to clean.

I got this for my hydro flask water bottle so I could double and use it as a coffee mug! Definitely a great buy and leakproof.

I really only needed to replace the red rubber seal inside the lid, but couldn't find that as a separate item. But it's probably worth replacing the whole lid.

I had the solid lid but needed something I could use on the go this fits the bill perfectly. Genuine part, great fit and next day delivery what’s not to like.

Harder to clean than the original flip up coffee lid and dribbles more... I understand why Hydro Flask went for the design change as the nubbin that sealed the old lid used to wear down... BUT this seems like a mediocre solution
