These are awesome! I love using them for writing when creating homemade greeting cards. Also great for projects or making posters. They work just like what is shown here on the video clip. I was worried that they might be a gimmick but since they had good reviews I went for it. I’m glad I got them! If you’re into art and like being creative then these are perfect for you. Give them a try! They would also make a great gift or stocking stuffer. * If you can wait until these go on sale it’s absolutely worth it. They drop by 40% every so often, that was the sale going on when I bought them. Only $5.99! That price for this set is an absolute bargain! Their regular price is $9.99. Not a bad price but these go on sale enough that you’d be better off waiting until the next sale.

These are so fun! I kept seeing ads for these and couldn't figure out how they work. Still don't know how they work, but we have had fun using them! Perfect for scrapbooking.

I am always on the lookout for new and interesting art supplies, so when I saw these markers I had to give them a try. I decided to test the claim that they can be used on any surface. I tried them on smooth plastic, painters tape, metal, cardboard, card stock, and sketchbook paper that I use with other markers successfully. Check photos for pros and cons listed below. PROS: They work on paper as advertised. They appear as a slightly tinted silver with a color outline. Easy to use if you follow directions, just like other paint pens. Once dry they appear to be permanent. They come in a clear, slightly hard plastic case. These pens make even shaky penmanship look pretty good on paper. CONS: Though they advertise that these pens can be used on any surface, THE OUTLINE EFFECT ONLY WORKS ON PAPER. (See photos) These pens BLEED THROUGH PAPER, even card stock. They are staining! As the ink bleeds through, it will definitely stain the surface below with color, and looks to be permanent! In conclusion I would say that these can be fun markers to create with, once you learn their properties. I WOULD NOT LET CHILDREN PLAY WITH THEM! Even though they’re water based, they make a mess. Always use on a protective surface.

These markers are inexpensive and do the job. They write in metallic and outline in the color on the cap. As other reviews warned- 2 of them were dried out upon arrival, but there were still 10 left, so I didn’t care much. I didn’t expect perfection for the low price. Yes they work fine, you just have to shake them well. Shake before opening the cap, or you’ll have color dot spatter all over the place. I needed them for outlining letters, and watercoloring in the middle space. For this they worked perfectly. Picture attached of a test run. Overall, they are for fun and totally worth the price. If you’re seeking archival museum quality master artist supplies, don’t expect to pay ten bucks for a 12 pack. If you’re a more skilled artist, these are perfectly fine for test runs and sketches. For beginners, these are perfectly fine to start out with and practice on. Very good.

Got for my big kid as a gift and my toddler tried to run away with it. They both enjoy using these!

Purchased for my 11 year old granddaughter and she loves them. Work as described if you follow the instructions,which also tell you they are for use on light card stock. On paper they bleed through and show the colour very clearly on the wrong side of the paper. Perhaps that is why they are not working for some people but they are working perfectly here on watercolour and marker paper. Not for colouring due to the outline function and only show silver. Would purchase again.
