lovely tool!
It took a bit to get used to the way the resin "grabbed" the yarn, but then i loved the way the hook worked, and felt so good in my hand. Not to mention it's just plain gorgeous to look at!

The BEST crochet hook, EVER
I absolutely love these crochet hooks.... Recently, I dropped one and broke the hook. I would not complete my project until the new one arrived. I can crochet for hours without pain or cramping in my hand.

Under $20 bucks, buy it!!
Beautiful hook at a great price, under $20. Not sure if I would purchase the ones that are over $100 or even $50. I love the Clover Amor hooks and the Prim hooks. So I don’t see me paying for Furls. But it’s nice to own at one.

Meh… It’s okay. Just not my personal preference
I gave this 4 stars because it is a quality product, I just don’t think it’s my personal preference. I was convinced by watching several crochet/craft influencers to try a Furls hook and was a bit disappointed. The ergonomics of the hook are amazing, I’ll give it that. If you like an ergonomic crochet hook, give it a try! My issue was with how yarn slides over it. It was smooth but not as smooth as a high quality ergonomic metal hook (my favorite is Clover Armor). Again, it’s all about personal preference and these just weren’t mine, but I encourage you to give them a try!

Completely worth the price
This is a hook is a joy to use it is so comfortable, has a deep hook so yarn stays in better, so smooth all over nothing ever catches and run so smoothly thru yarn. I was put off by the price - but now I‘d rather have fewer hooks and adjust pattern and yarn to fit hook than use anything else. Just can’t say enough bout this beautiful hook

Poor manufacturing = unusable = waste of money
I honestly don’t understand how Furl’s thinks they have a product worth this much $$. I mostly use Tulip Etimo or Clover Soft Touch hooks which are tapered. I’m functional with a Bates/inline style but I don’t love them. However, I needed to find a metal free hook for jury duty and travel. So I tried this hook. It arrived today and I immediately tried it out. First off, I’m convinced I was sent a used one. The box was dirty and it had obviously been opened and closed back up with simple poorly cut gift wrap tape. Feels ok in the hand, balanced toward the handle in a good way, but overall way heavier than a crochet hook needs to be. Look is fine. Doesn’t look as rich or handsome as I would expect a $25 hook to be. Printing/engraving is smudgy and hard to read. The resin is not smooh. When you look under a light you can see fine ridges perpendicular to the line of the hook where I’m assuming it was made on a lathe type device. However, all of these complaints would have actually been minor had the item actually been useable!! The tip is too blunt and fatter than every other 4.5mm hook I own (even the inline) And yet the hook end is so very sharp that every single stitch that I attempted to make split. It was grabbing entirely too much along the throat due to the almost serrated ridges. I took exactly three stitches with it and put it back in the box to return. No way, no how is this worth $25. Do not waste your energy. Overall this is really poorly manufactured and not even worth $2.50.

Works great, easy to break
I love Furls and I love this hook, but it is so easy to break. I've gone through 3 of the resin ones now. Great for ergonomic help, though!
