I’ve been using OUAI Medium Shampoo, and it’s officially a staple in my shower. This shampoo is the perfect balance—it cleans deeply without stripping, and leaves my hair feeling soft, light, and fresh instead of dry or heavy. The scent is clean, luxe, and salon-level good without being overpowering. It makes washing my hair feel like a mini self-care moment rather than a chore. A little goes a long way so start small and work your way up as needed. I love this shampoo, I wish it was cheeper or maybe bigger size for its price at least.

It’s a great shampoo!

I was hesitant at first about spending the money on this shampoo and the matching conditioner but I’m so glad my fiancé talked me into it. I have always struggled with a flaky, itchy scalp that was an embarrassing issue for me. I have wavy, medium textured hair and a lot of it to boot. Every shampoo and conditioner I tried would dry out my hair but make my scalp so greasy. I could never find a happy medium of how often to wash my hair because I would develop flakes overnight and yes, I was rinsing my hair throughly and with the assistance of a scalp massager. With this, I now wash my hair two or three times a week depending on the weather and my activities at work (I work in a factory). My hair isn’t frizzy, it looks and feels healthy, and my scalp doesn’t bother me anymore. I shampoo my hair twice every time I wash it and I still have over half the bottle left and I get an excellent lather to clean my scalp. I definitely recommend trying. The smell can be strong for those who are sensitive to smells but it wasn’t horrible enough for me to be put off by it. I would also like to note that I’ve had this product for about 3 months now and I’m very happy with my results and look forward to expanding my of the products within this range for my hair.

I have dry hair that's prone to tangling and I wanted to try this to see if it would add more mositure than all other shampoos I've tried. At first, this stuff seemed to work. But after using it for about a month, I can definitively say that it would probably only benefit someone with extremely dry hair because over time it leaves residue. After every wash, my hair was becoming more and more greasy feeling, even without styling products. Humidity and warm temperatures made the greasy, dirty feeling worse, especially on my roots. Not worth the price point, in my opinion.
