This book seems more like it is designed to help somebody setup an arduino if they never have. Silly me, I'm trying to learn more, like integrating a Real Time Clock with a 3231 SD card reader module to log the operation of my hydroponic nutrient control project. Running peristaltic pumps, dht11 sensor, and maybe even OLED display. And if all that goes well, adding an esp01 to integrate wifi... Needless to say, this book helped me in no way what-so-ever, and taught me literally nothing. Infact the 30 min I spent reading it could have probably been explored much more in depth through a 30 min video (of which there are countless on YouTube). I'll even say that it came up pretty short here, pretty much just a guide for initial setup and a little information on how it works, mostly telling you what some cool projects would be (without any kind of explanation of how to make such a project) and telling you to go somewhere else to learn critical information, or you will suffer. It is all very true, but for a 2020 version I was expecting to see something that wasn't already published 3 yrs ago. And while it explains that there are differences in the models of arduino board and briefly what some of those differences are, it certainly didn't help me realize if I should be upgrading from my uno for my project....Honestly I think the book is pointless if you have access to Google and youtube... But I will end with saying this kind book could be useful to a young person when gifted along side an arduino uno starter kit. If this book were abridged, it would probably be titled, "How to Connect an Arduino to Your Computer" which half the YouTube videos cover in the intro, saying something like... Before we can do this project you'll need Arduino IDE if you don't already have it, which can be found here... Select your OS.... Install..." and so on. Sorry Nick Sadler.
