Great porduct.
Mucinex Children’s Cough & Congestion is now my go-to for the grandkids. It seems to work better than the DM that was prescribed by my grandsons doctor plus he likes the taste better as well so its easier to get him to take it.

This medicine is a lifesaver when my kids are extra stuffed up and coughy. It helps them function like normal.

Will not help with sleep
My daughter had a cough that I could tell was going to turn phlegm-y. So I bought this to ensure I was prepared. Something to be aware of- it does not stop coughing. Its pure purpose is to create PRODUCTIVE coughs- so it helps get the phlegm up and out to help with the cough. I did not know this, but luckily bought a suppressant as well. If you’re looking to stop the cough (especially for at night!) this is not your product (try delsym for suppressing). I also wouldn’t recommend using at night as it creates more mucus which can increase coughing. Also the taste (berry) is gross, my 4yo will take it but does not like it. I would recommend as it does totally work, it just doesn’t help stop a cough.
