A: My hat size is very small.  So, if I have it extended to the largest, it would cover my ears.  But, I adjusted small.  So, it doesn't.  It does not have any material that folds down to cover your ears.

**Q: I read the burgundy cap is not Falari.  Does it still have the metal fastener on back or is it velcro?**
A: metal fastener, and the hat could only fit the head of a small adult or child.

The color is very nice and will go with the numerous shads of jean clothing that I have. It appears that it will hold up, but will tell. It's a good product for the cost. I took the cap out of the envelope it arrived in and just plopped it on my head and it fit perfectly no need to adjust and the curve to the front was perfect as well, I have bought caps in the past that I was not happy with but this is a great cap and I love the yellow color.
