Lets just say I have the sharpest shoes in the restaurant. Get comments about them all the time. I do slide around if certain floors(smooth tile) are wet. I have almost fallen on my ass a few times walking on the parts of the kitchen and cooler floors that not covered by mats. Non slip is non existing on some smooth damp surfaces. Dont tell my boss.. ohh and the steel toes are great for kicking things when I get upset at the crazy customers that I must deal with on a day to day basis. My toes are def protected in these tanks..They do weigh alot because of all the features this shoe has to offer (steelToes). I get a great workout for my legs while I work. Pretty much like wearing ancle weights. When I get home and take them off I can pretty much jump through the roof. So light on my feet. I dont mind the weight of the shoe bc it is like a work out for me. They are heavy so if you are lazy and slow these shoes arent for you because you will be left behind... or fall on your face running up steps or sliding on tile.
