Pulp Riot Semi-Permanent Hair Color 4oz- Velvet

I was introduced to this hair color a couple months ago, so I gave it a try. First off love the color! I bought Velvet, It’s easy to apply and it cleans up off the skin easily with basic rubbing alcohol, I like that I don’t need to get my hair wet before applying. I was a manic panic girl for several years and this product by far is way better! I love how it fades beautifully and it lasts longer than MP. I still had color after 6 weeks using just regular shampoo and conditioner no color safe shampoo was ever used. I just applied the color jam and I love it! My hair is soft and it doesn’t feel waxy like MP after coloring.I have found my new hair color product and I will continue to buy pulpriot hair color for a long time.

I've been using Pulp Riot's blue muse semi permanent dye for a few years. It's the second brand cyan blue hair color I have tried. The duration of good color on your hair is going to depend on a lot of things. Did you apply it to clean dry hair? How many times a week are you washing it? What's the condition of your hair cuticle to begin with? I get a solid 2 to 3 weeks out of coloring with this Pulp Riot hair dye. I color it myself and it takes about an hour from start to finish: applying the die, waiting 45 minutes, rinsing it out, blowing it dry. I have "mature" hair and it's very kind to my hair. No damage Pulp Riot makes an array of colors. Although my eye wanders and I sometimes think about getting off blue muse, I'm quickly brought back to the reality that it is the perfect color for me. I'm completely satisfied with my experience every time I use it

My hair doesn't take color well. Pulpriot lasts the longest for me (nearly 2 weeks), and Velvet, their darkest purple, shows up the brightest. Didn't post a photo because it looks much better in person. Better in daylight than indoors. I have very dark brown hair with a lot of gray. It mostly colors the gray and looks like a highlight. For the first few days, it colors a lot of the brown also.

My stylist put this Velvet- a cool purple color- in my hair and I thought it looked good. But the color fades fast, so I ordered 2 more packages with the intention of shampooing in the color weekly to keep it vibrant. However, at my next appointment, my stylist changed to a warmer magenta shade from Joico that looks so much better with my complexion. I ordered more from Walmart as Amazon doesn’t carry that brand. I returned both unopened Velvet packages to my local UPS, unboxed as Amazon suggested. I was refunded the cost but now Amazon is telling me they did not receive the items and they will charge me for them if they don’t get the items back soon. I’ve ordered from Amazon literally hundreds of times, personally and for work. Never had issues before with the few items I’ve returned; will never return anything “unboxed” again. So, rich, deep color and great product, but buyer beware. I haven’t seen a way to talk to customer service about my issue. The price of this item also fluctuates a lot, I paid $17 per box but I’ve seen it go up to $25 on Amazon.

I love the color it's a crazy plum purple, very vibrant color. It leaves your hair silky soft. This brand doesn't seem to have all the chemicals that kill your hair! It does wash out after washing it 45 times or more. I'm just lucky that when it's faded it blends real well with all my gray!!💜💜💜💜💜

I love this hair dye and would recommend it over Artic Fox any day! Mix it with Splat hair dye and you've got yourselves something magical. Fades like the northern lights and stays in for like a month and a half before it needs to be redone. I'm not gatekeeping this. Seriously, try this. (And always test on a single strand before committing, as everyone's hair reacts differently)

Not as bright a blue as I was expecting and my hair takes to colour really well. My hair dresser really enjoyed the use and ease of the product though, it was just I expected more from the colour
