Gifted to my brother who absolutely loves it! The glow in the dark factor is also cool. I gave this to him a few weeks after a wedding and he was heartbroken that he wasnt able to wear it then. He just got his redemption and wore it to a barn wedding this summer and the other guests loved it, its a fun conversation starter and a great way to show a little personality. I ended up getting a bolo tie for him to match for any future occasions he may want to wear it for. Lightweight and was easy to put on, I paired it with a higher quality leather belt thinking he may want to change the buckle out every now and then, but so far he has enjoyed it with this buckle as is!

Love this buckle, it was my main one for a while but I switched to a flatter one because it kept getting caught and scraped on things at work. Despite that it's held up well. It does have a few scratches but that's my fault and they could honestly buff out. I didn't realize it glowed in the dark lol but it's very bright when it does. Because of the dome shape it does stick out a little bit but should be fine in a non mechanical work environment. Fits the belt I have great and keeps my pants up. I've gotten lots of compliments.

It's the perfect size, not big and bulky. It glows in the dark, I didn't know that when purchasing it so that was cool to find out. But I can't really tell what it's made out of and it's light and kind of feels like a hard plastic. But it's worth the price.

I originally wrote this review claiming it was plastic coated with a metallic coating because I felt at the time that the sound of my finger flicking it was all the evidence I needed to make this claim. I got another very similar but slightly better built buckle from another seller, for more money of course. I decided to test my theory a bit better than flicking on it and carved into it a bit on the back and the lower edge with a utility knife. I amend my statements: It does appear to be some kind of metal as stated in the description, but soft enough to carve with a steel razer blade, and it was possible to bend it slightly with my hands-- maybe aluminum alloy of some sort, then plated with something else nicer looking. Overall, the buckle looks okay as long as you're not looking too hard, but boy does it feel cheap, as others have said. I will definitely keep it as a backup, but you get exactly what you pay for here, so I recommend caution. If this belt buckle will be responsible for holding your outfit together, at least buy two so you have a backup. I don't trust it to hold my pants up for sure.
