This was easy to install (5 minutes with a philips screwdriver) and the instructions were well written. All the parts fit right and were of good quality. The only critical connections are color coded and if you have any degree of handiness I'm sure you can do it without reading them. The only ding, and I didn't even take a star away for this, is that the control unit plastic screw holes didn't fit inside the screw holes in the metal grill side. This made it take an extra 20 seconds to install, no big deal, but they should fit for convenience. This works fine with a rechargeable eneloop you just don't get as long a life of it as with a 1.5v alkaline. Excellent rapid spark right from the get go, lights on the first click every time. Old weber brand igniter lasted 12 years, I'll update this review to see how long I get out of this one.

Very happy with this kit. Nice option for renewing an older Weber S300 series grill. All wire were color coded and installation was a breeze. I had the grill upside down for other work and this made it much easier to install. They recommend a lithium battery so I had to go out to Lowes and pick that up (note: lithium batteries are not cheap). All in all everything works great at least for now.

Easy installation and works perfectly. Did not need the xtra wiring. Good instructions.

I would have given this a 5Star review except it didn’t come with the plastic clips for securing the igniter wires. Other than not having these clips (my old ones need to be replaced) installation was easy, it works great. I’m disappointed it didn’t come with everything listed in the picture.

We bought a used Weber and this igniter wasn’t working. Decided to get this one as my husband was pretty annoyed about it. Hubby installed this one; said it was easy and straightforward. He’s commented every time he’s grilled since then how nice it is to have it working perfectly!! Worth the money for sure. Recommend 10/10

Exactly what I needed for my grill. Good instructions. A little confusing at first since I was only replacing the igniter and not the burners etc. Instructions are written like you are replacing a lot more than just igniter. I skipped to the end to get grill front back together.

Cheaper than the Weber equivalent but every bit as good I would say. Real easy to fit

Fast delivery, 48 hrs after order was placed . Item fit and worked perfectly .

Installed all components in about half an hour. The front panel disassembles quite easily and so is lifting out the parts inside the grill to get to the burners. Tools required are a screw driver and socket wrench. Total of 6 fasteners to remove to disassemble all located under the front panel. The unit looks passable as an OEM part but there are subtle design and material differences. These don't have any effect to it replacing the old one and likely wouldn't be detectable without having the two units side by side. Seemed to deliver a good spark at the burners and had no problems relighting them when I tested the installation. We'll see how long it lasts. The issue with the old one was the battery contacts corroded. This one has a different way of contacting the battery. Whether it's better or worse is yet to be seen.

This starter works but it doesn't work as well as the original. It takes more attempts to get the burners to light. Eventually it lights so it does what it's supposed to.

Works with e320 gen1 Webber grill, plug in and play, half the price of Webber one, quality is great.
