Very durable, good knife for the money, great tackle box knife, stainless steel but holds an edge fairly well. A good all rounder for a tanto point.

This knife is an absolute steal. You get more than you pay for with this one. Nothing fancy but very well dome for the money. Great truck knife, or bugout tool. If something bad happens to it no big deal at this price. Sheath clip is less than desirable but everything else about it checks the right boxes.

I am very pleased with this knife. It came quickly and is very sharp. If you are reading reviews you may have noted a lot of complaints about the included sheath. About the sheath: Once you hold the blade in your hand it becomes very apparent that the blade was initially designed to be a diving knife. As a diving knife and because of basic economics, the sheath needed to be plastic with a positive lock (retention) system. The blade locks into the sheath very snugly and will not fall out of the sheath, I turned it upside down and shook it for a few minutes; it did not come even slightly loose. The sheath does have a hole in the bottom to prevent hydro-locking. As a diving knife the blade has ONE flaw. It does not have a hole in the hilt to allow for a lanyard, so it you drop it you will be looking for it. For my purposes this knife is almost perfect. Because of the 4116 steel, It will hold an edge for a very long time. The blade is well balanced for most common uses but because it is blade heavy it would not be a good throwing knife (but it’s not designed to be throwen).

As always, Cold Steel has made another wonderful knife. This is not advertised as a diving knife but that's exactly what it is. It has a positive locking plastic sheath with a drainage hole to prevent vacuum lock. The knife comes razor sharp from the factory, but that's Cold Steel knives for you. The handle is totally nonslip, only missing a lanyard hole but the handle has a spot that one can be added. I'm completely pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend if you're in the market for a great diving knife.

Light and grippy and sharp and shiny. A super wonderful knife ESPECIALLY for the price. But the sheath SUX. It has good retention and a semi-decent formed retention clip but it is SUPER hard to draw the knife out of it and there is no way to use paracord or clips to attach it otherwise. The backing/attachment blocks the handle almost entirely. You cannot draw it with your full grip but only a half-grip with a couple fingers. Excepting that, it’s amazing they made such a nice knife at this price point.

What can I say, it’s what you’d expect from a reputable company like ColdSteel. Nice fit & finish, plus a razor sharp edge. I can’t find anything I don’t like about it. The knife is good to go. The shipping speed however, left a lot to be desired. It took 5 weeks to receive this from the date of order. That’s very unusual for something shipped directly from Amazon. Other than that, solid knife for the money.

Excellent value for a Cold Steel knife made with durable German steel. The knife is extremely sharp, and the tanto style blade will pierce anything with ease. I was going to take a star off for the sheath, it’s worthless, but the knife deserves 5 stars.

Absolutely love this knife! But it for the wife for a camping knife and we’re not disappointed. Razor sharp and holds its edge very well.

Recomendo a Cold Steel 100% e já estou de olho em outros produtos da marca para minha coleção. Se a lâmina deste Tanto Lite é considerada longa demais para algumas situações, certamente buscarei um modelo mais compacto para meu EDC.

Evidentemente no tiene el mismo nivel de detalle ni calidad que el master tanto pero en desempeño no le pide nada, ademas es mas ligero cosa que se nota y agradece mucho, viene muy afilado, tiene un agarre exelente y el precio es muy bueno, el grosor de la hoja es aceptable, en general una gran compra

Une beau couteau dans la gamme Tanto. Bonne prise en main, pointe de poignée très dure et résistante. Seul bémol : l'étui est un peu simpliste
