I wear them every day under pants and dresses and, not following manufacturer's instructions, I wash them in washing machine and dry in dryer (I DO place in a lingerie bag to keep them from being snagged). They hold up super well. When I'm not disciplined about clipping my toe nails, sharp nails DO poke holes through toe area and, eventually, the holes become too large and I throw away the tights. But that's after months of wearing, machine washing, and machine drying. If I manage to NOT make holes in the toe area, after a year or so of heavy wear/washing/drying, the crotch area does begin to fray a bit. But it can be literally years before there is actually a hole in the crotch. I know they aren't inexpensive at $28, but, for me, b/c I wear them daily, they are a very good value. Sizing: As my weight has fluctuated radically over the last ten years, I have worn sizes A, B, C, and B again. I always find my need for a different size is consistent with the weight/height parameters of the size chart. So, I'm not sure why some people have trouble with the sizing. Perhaps it's about individual weight distribution? When I gain weight, I'd say my thigh, belly, tush all grow proportionally, so perhaps that's why the sizing works for me?
