Makita XDT11R 18V Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Driver Kit, Teal,

Very happy with the seller, ready2call. Tool was well packaged inside a separate cardboard box and delivered as promised. Tool itself is very compact and powerful. The tool's light is so bright it's like looking into the sun so don't look directly at it. The only issue is with the storage case. One of the plastic dividers inside the plastic case was misshaped and badly cracked. This had to have come from the factory in this condition so Makita obviously needs to tighten up their quality control. A busted up case should have never left the factory floor. Actually would have much preferred one of Makita's fine balistic nylon tool bags instead of the included plastic case. Overall there is a lot to like here due to the tool's light weight and compact size. Perfect for repair and remodeling contractors and weekend warriors alike. Want to mention that the included batteries also have fuel gauges. Happy to see Makita has finally recognized the need to include this very useful feature.

This is a really high quality tool. Very impressed with the power. Batteries last a good while and charge fast. I actually broke some regular 3/8 socket with this, so make sure to use impact sockets etc. The case mine came in had some marks on it already. Didn't really bother me.

Love Makita's Impact Driver. My first impact driver. I've been driving screws with drills and driver bits forever. Didn't realize how much needless time and effort I've been wasting. I bought the two battery kit. Batteries quickly charge and work a long time. Also purchased both the Makita Impact Gold Driver Torsion Insert Bit Set and the Makita Driver Socket set. Haven't used the sockets, but wow have I enjoyed using the new driver and bit set. I have to confess to a mistake I made at first. I was accustomed to leaning hard on my old drill to drive screws. I found myself leaning on the Impact Driver. Result, bent and stripped screws. Then I recalled a demo video saying "Let the driver do the work". It really does almost all the work. No more stripped or bent screws. If it's possible to wear the Makita 18V Impact Driver out in my lifetime, I'm getting another!

This impact driver is one of the best I have used. The fast charge charger/battery is absolutely useful when in a midst of a project. I think this could possibly replace the drill, when more tool attachments become mainstream.

I like how the case is a hard case. Not all brands offer this, but it’s what I wanted so it was nice to see Makita do so. The case has quite some wasteful space on the inside and I’ve uploaded hopefully a helpful pic of how it looks on the inside since I wasn’t able to find one before my purchase.
