THE BEST KNIFE I HAVE EVER BOUGHT FOR HUNTING!!!!! I use this when I’m hunting and just keep it in my truck for the accessibility too. It goes with me while I’m hunting and taking care of the deer in the field can be really hard on a blade so being able to switch it out without sharpening it had been so helpful. The bone saw is amazing and does so much without too much effort put into it. Looking back at my past seasons, I hate that I went without this set because of how helpful it has been. It’s super easy to clean too because the blade can be removed. I have seen that stuff can get stuck in the slot that the blade folds into but once I noticed it was easy to clean out. Just be aware that stuff does go in there!

Favorite skinning set I've purchased. Incredibly sharp and keeps a good edge for a long time. Skinned many deer with it. Easy to change the blades as well

Great set. I enjoyed last deer season with it. Probably gonna get more blades and use it again. Field dressed a couple deer with it real quick and clean.

High Quality, I was actually pleasantly Suprised being a Hunter when I opened it... This came with its own spare blades, Saw & the Updated Kryptek Case, so I was really Stoked about that!! I had a couple small issues but the Company took care of it Immediately. 5 Star Customer Service without a doubt, Order with Confidence! I also ordered the extra blade kit with the gut hook and boning blades, that is A Must have as well to complete the Set. The Saw is a little flimsy like people said, but it should work fine for the crotch Bone on Deer, & it was Very Sharp as well... ☆☆ I do want to caution people thoug, these are Razor and I mean Razor Blade Sharp!! So you need to Exercise Precision & Concentration while your using this knife or Skinner, Because if you Slip with this and cut yourself I promise you will be taking a trip to the Hospital!! I wouldn't recommend parents getting these for kids under 18 unless the Kids are Taught Proper Handling & Usage First, and are under Close Adult Supervision while using the Knife or Skinner at All Times... Purchased this kit for this year's whitetail season. The knife itself is handsome, looks well designed, and feels very solid. The way the blades install and lock in is really cool and I think this is the major advantage of this knife vs similarly pried competing knifes. I was able to field dress three deer before the need to install a new blade - they hold edge very well. The gut hook is super sharp as well - unfortunately in my unit, the gut blade did not lock in safely - there was not enough spring in the steel to lock the blade in place. I contacted Outdoor Edge through email, sent them a picture of the knife and they sent a replacement within a week - great customer service! The replacement gut hook locks in place securely. If you intend to use the saw for major bone work, don't bother - get the knife only and get a separate saw. This saw is pretty flimsy and doesn't feel good in the hand. It cuts through the breast bone without issue, but even the pelvis gives it trouble. You'll eventually get it, but there are better products out there to get the job done easier. The sheath is nice and well built. I really like the compactness of it even with both saw and knife in it, as well as spare blades. I think the only thing that would make it better is if it was made out of leather. Overall, 4 out of 5 stars. if this was for knife only, it would be 5 out of 5. Sure I had an issue with the first one, but that happens and manufacturer took care of it quickly and without question. The one negative star is for the bone saw, but if you come to it knowing that all it will do is small bones, then you are good to go. Happy hunting!

A friend of my husband recommended this knife for field dressing deer. It works great and doesn’t require a lot of force to break through bones. The knife is VERY sharp and lightweight and is the perfect size. The blade locks into place so you don’t have to worry about it accidentally changing positions while you are using it. It’s a great find and will be buying for my sons who are also hunters.
