It is what it is - an expensive attractive accessory. It looks great when paired with the cool control system. Note that you only need to replace the plastic inner tube, IE you don’t replace the metal exterior (which is solely for looks). If you’re spending that much on a Jura, may as well make it look great as well! Good quality and serves its purpose… even if a bit over priced.

This is admittedly a stupid thing to spend money on... and also a necessary one. I cannot believe really, how much Jura charges for this thing - but it is what it is. If you connect a milk fridge, you gotta buy it if you don't want a plastic tube connecting your machine. It does what it says on the tin. It's a nice cover. It's very high quality and looks nice, and just a cover - you can still easily replace the plastic tube as necessary.

Looks great, works great

Stainless steel is not that expensive. This is a MAJOR upgrade to the standard milk tube and for me it fits and works perfectly on the Z8. However, does seem to be way over-priced for what you actually get. Not even a spare inner tube or anything.... All in all I love the way it looks and it actually is functional because it gives sturdiness to the milk tube. Just wish the price was more fair.

Simple, basic and works. Too bad it’s not included in the monster price you pay when you buy the Jura coffee maker machine, but there you go!! It completes the look.

I can't believe that I actually spend all that money on this useless piece of stainless steel. I bought into the hype that this would make my new $2700 Jura E8 look more professional, especially with the special milk container. Truly, it is a useless piece of "decoration" that actually caused me quite a bit of grief. I noticed that my Flat White was not a flat white anymore. Upon further inspection, it appears that the plastic tube inside the useless stainless steel hose keeps disconnecting. Since it is inside the metal, you can't see that it has disconnected....and keeps on doing it. I actually had to use a pair of needle nose pliers to get the hose to attach back into the front part of the stainless steel connector. The first time it happened I thought... ok... I will re-attach it. Well, just when you are looking forward to your Cappuccino, Flat White, or any other milk based drink.... the hose had separated again and you are left with a whole bunch of spluttering...making a mess... but no milk in your coffee. Forget about the esthetics .... this is totally useless and a total waste of money. The best bet is to use a simple hose that inserts into a milk container and be done with it. You can always see if the milk is flowing....
